This Hotel has been preserved and decorated very tastefully. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. If you like old Hotels and history you will love this place.

So much better than a chain hotel
I arrived late in the evening after making a last minute reservation. The hotel owners were on vacation so aan named Aaron was minding the hotel. Aaron was delightfully friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is quite charming and beautifully decorated. I'd definitely stay here again.

Our second stay here, and we enjoyed it very much. Yes, trains do go by in the night, however for me it just sounds pleasant to hear them in the distance. The hotel feels very homey to me.

Great History - Uncomfortable Stay
We love the history of The Garza Hotel, but we were not happy with our overall stay. We booked the Bordeaux Suite looking for a romantic getaway. The bed was uncomfortable and old, the shower had no water pressure and the room does not have control of it own temperature. We slept on top of the sheets with the fan going and still sweated through the night. We were simply disappointed in our stay.

We have stayed here twice and will be staying here everytime we visit our daughter. The owners are very nice. The hotwl might be 100 yrs old, but it is beautiful, the bathrooms are up to date, and the breakfast is awesome.

Great time at the Garza
Our stay was awesome! The owners spent untold riches to bring back to life the Hotel Garza, created in 1915, and they most definitely did. Everything in the hotel speaks of that time. Then after a restful sleep, we had a marvelous breakfast. After spending a few nights in those modern plastic rooms, we loved the Hotel Garza

What a Surprise
A terrific antidote to the anonymous, sterile chain hotels I usually stay at. A pleasant, eye-opening surprise into what “comfort” genuinely means.

Very nice, unique property but being from a rural area, having a train going by the hotel numerous times during the night with the whistle blowing was cause for a miserable night. Will most definitely examine locations more closely in the future.

It’s a unique facility. Charming. The breakfast was excellent. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi didn’t work. I tried to watch Netflix using my computer and the Wi-Fi didn’t support it. The community is lacking. Upon a recommendation we ate dinner at George’s which was not very good. I don’t know if there is anywhere else to eat except fast food.

This hotel was delightful. The bed was comfy and the room super clean. We had to leave early so we didn't get to have breakfast. We enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard and visiting with the hotel cat.

Loved this charming little hotel. Breakfast was deeelicious. Beds were mushy. We didn’t need pillows because we sunk into the mattress. If you like a firm bed, be warned.
