Overall, the hotel room was adequate, but I expected more for the price. The quality of the sheets and pillows was disappointing, and even the sofa was made of a hard canvas-like material. We chose a high-floor room with a wrap-around balcony, but it was narrow and lacked seating. Next time, we'll opt for a standard room. Additionally, we lost power to all the lights while we were getting ready to check out. My wife joked, "Power going off—must be a sign for us to leave!"

The "upgrade" to a high floor room was absolutely pointless as one side of the building faces another, so it doesn't matter how high you go, you won't get a better view (at least on the north side). Parking was a little pricey and didn't have any EV charging, but it was convenient (parked next to the elevator and took it straight up to our room).

Great property and rooms. Breakfast was healthy and good. Lots of fresh fruit, good scrambled eggs, yogurt, sausage, etc. Plenty of seating on busy mornings. Room was spacious for three adults and cleaned every day. Tip: Save $14 a day by parking in the city garage across the street rather than under the hotel.

We were charged $40 for early check in and 10 minutes later up in the room the power went out. Nobody from the hotel staff came to check on anyone or offer any help. When i finally made it down to the desk they said it was being worked on and would be 15-20 minutes. What a waste of early check in didn’t even offer refund of the $40 fee. Finally went to get some food and power came on while i was gone for almost 2 hours because everything was out even a/c was out. I didn’t like how the situation was handled or lack there of. The front desk staff wasn’t even sympathetic about it just straight face this is what it is. This was one of my favorite places to stay in the past and everyone was inviting. I don’t know what happened in the 6 months since my last visit but I will never return to this hotel again. They have zero customer service skill and are all about the mighty dollar even if it cost good service. I will look at other hotels for my next stay in October.

Bathrooms were half cleaned. The room directly above was extremely loud throughout the night into the early morning - when spoke to the front desk they dismissed us. The power in our room went out every single night causing nothing to charge for our jobs the next day.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Pasadena, and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a peaceful oasis after a long day of exploring the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience at the Hyatt Pasadena was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I had a memorable stay. They were always available to answer any questions I had and were quick to offer recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The location of the hotel is also worth mentioning. It is conveniently situated in the heart of Pasadena, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options. I enjoyed exploring the vibrant neighborhood and discovering the charm of Pasadena. Another standout feature of the Hyatt Pasadena is the delicious food. The on-site restaurant offers a variety of mouthwatering dishes that cater to all tastes. Whether I was in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a gourmet dinner, the culinary team at the hotel never failed to impress. Very nice hotel. New and modern, with good security measures. Staff is very helpful. My only quibble is with getting coffee. If you don’t get down by 10AM on the weekend, you’re out of luck. I don’t know why it’s so difficult to just have coffee available. I’ll pay for it, I’m not saying I want all day free coffee, but access to coffee would be good. And I don’t understand those round coffee pods in the coffee makers in the rooms. Just put Keurig machines in there and if they get stolen, bill the guest for them. That way if it’s after 10AM and coffee isn’t available downstairs, we can just make it in our rooms if I know in advance you have a Keurig I’ll bring my own pods. It’s such a small luxury but when you’re away from home it’s the small things that make a difference. But really other than that, a lovely hotel, well situated within walking to pedestrian mall area and shopping and convention center.
