Beautiful surroundings, easy access to crystal clear water at a nice sandy beach, and the friendliest staff. Our only regret is that we only had one day here. We will definitely return!

Great location, room not so great
Great location right on the beach. They offered a nice buffet breakfast that was included in the rate. However, the rooms were not very nice, and we did not get what we booked. The room, bathroom and balcony were large; however, we booked 3 beds (a queen and 2 twins), and ended up with a queen, a small sofa bed and rollaway bed. For 2 teenage boys, this was not very comfortable. Additionally, the bathroom was surrounded by windows that created a sauna. Some of the blinds were broken, so we could not even lower them. Also, Wifi was not very reliable. The view was gorgeous though, which almost made up for the poor condition of the accommodations. The staff was nice, but was not able to provide a different room. For the amount we paid for this room, it was disappointing.

Great location, uncomfortable hotel
Great location, super easy access to the beach, and a very nice beach view. However, I was not impressed with the hotel. There's no soap or shampoo, the shower is hand-held, and the towels are rough. The power was out for 4 hours during the last night of my stay, which resulted in a very hot room and a very bad breakfast in the morning due to the refrigeration failing.

We were not the only ones who were disappointed...
We checked in only to find the shower did not work, and that the technician would not be in to look at it until the next day. There was no soap, no shampoo, and the room smelled of mold. We asked the desk to cancel our reservation, and we found a nearby hotel instead. The next day I stopped by to check in with some friends who were having trouble checking in, and an irate guest was complaining loudly to the desk staff, who seemed conditioned to this kind of behavior. We suggested that our friends join us in the nearby hotel instead, which they did.

A great place in Le Lavandou
Very friendly staff, fantastic location right on the beach. A basic hotel but had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing few days. Local spar and beach shop nearby and a great restaurant just up the beach. Also the hotel is very close to Toulon airport and on a bus route, so generally very very convenient. Would recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Great location, right on the beach.
Very good location. Plenty of parking in the area and it's free of charge all year round. The Hotel staff were friendly. The rooms were a really good size, lovely and spacious with very nice spacious balconies. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay as Cavaliere and the surrounding area has a lot to offer with great beaches. There is room for improvement on the general décor of the hotel, it just needs a little love and a gardener to spruce things up. But this did not impact our enjoyment of our stay.

Great Location
Part of the coast which is not over the top in terms of glitz and show. Very relaxing and the location is perfect. Recommend to families with children looking for a hotel with lots to do by the seaside.

5 Star location, 2 Star hotel
This is a difficult one because as other reviewers have stated, the hotel is a little tired. As we entered the hotel we walked through the breakfast room that looked like it wouldn't be out of place in a holiday camp, into a musty corridor and then into a room that was very simply furnished to say the least. Our hearts sank. Then we opened the curtains and our spirits rose a little. The view is amazing. You are right on the beach - any closer and your feet would get wet. We had a late dinner on the terrace and the food was pleasant and served by a smiling water. Next day we took our very acceptable breakfast onto the terrace and sat gazing at that view. The beach is beautiful, mostly sandy and shelves at just the right rate. We found it best to swim in the morning before the breeze gets up and the water gets choppier. All in all we stayed in 5 hotels in 8 days as we traveled around the Cote D'Azur. I think we enjoyed this hotel the most. I don't think I'd want to stay for a week or more as we did start to crave a little luxury but we have stayed in many hotels around the world. This has probably one of the best locations we have come across. That's the choice you have to make.

Great location.
Great location, beachfront!!! Extremely helpful and friendly staff, comfortable rooms and free parking beside the hotel. Nice beachfront restaurant as well which makes for a nice way to spend an evening by the sea.

Wonderful view from large comfy room
Loved having a room with doors opening straight onto a magnificent view of the sea, the hotel was a bit tired and dated in places, but having the beach right outside with loungers, and a large terrace to relax on with drinks was just great. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. Didn't try the restaurant for an evening meal, but it's there if you don't want to go out.

Amazing beach view, shame about the hotel
I know this area well and it's a real shame that such a super hotel has slid into the shoddy state it's now in. Under the present owners there's no chance of any change. Check out their Facebook entry for a real fantasy trip! The buffet breakfast was so pathetic, we didn't risk the restaurant for dinner.

Cet établissement est indigne d'un 4 étoiles ! Hormis sa situation géographique exceptionnelle cet établissement ne mérite pas d'intérêt l'hôtelier n'ayant aucun respect pour sa profession! Très mal insonorisé, (on a l'impression que le voisin prend sa douche dans vote chambre) moi qui pensais être bercé par le bruit des vagues je me suis retrouvé dans une soirée DJ et ai dû quitter l'hôtel au beau milieu de la nuit sans avoir pu fermer l'œil et sans le moindre regret exprimé par le gérant qui bien entendu s'est empoché les 2 nuitées réservées et n'a proposé aucune compensation malgré le désagrément ! Manque de respect honteux et indigne ! Je n'avais jamais vu cela et vous deconseille de faire confiance à ces imposteurs qui ne méritent pas notre argent les tarifs ne correspondent aucunement aux prestations attendues . Aucun commentaire sur les autres services puisque je n'ai pas eu le loisirs de consommer mais sans nul doute à la hauteur de sa médiocrité.... simplement scandaleux les commentaires négatifs n'étaient donc pas usurpés !

Séjour et emplacement très agréable

Perfekte Ausblick aufs Meer
Sehr gute Lage direkt am Strand mit Blick vom Balkon direkt auf das Meer. Wir hatten ein frisch renoviertes Zimmer. Großes Zimmer mit Doppelbett und separater Sitzecke. Toilette in separatem Raum vom Vollbad abgetrennt. Im kompletten Hotel fanden Renovierungsarbeiten statt. Flure, Zimmer und Balkone wurden gestrichen, das Dach neu eingedeckt, die Strandbar wurde komplett erneuert. Das Zimmer verfügte über keine Minibar, kein Tresor, keine Nespresso Maschine.. dafür Wlan u AC. Der Fitnessraum nur befingt nurzbar da die Böden erneuert wurden. Frühstück wird am Platz serviert. Eine einzige ServiceKraft, daher Wartezeiten. le petit-déjeuner -am Platz zugeteilt durch den Service, sehr übersichtlich, jeden Tag exakt gleich, lediglich eine kleine Auswahl an Müsli zur Selbstbedienung, dazu ein Glas frisch gepressten Saft. Preise vor Ort utopisch, vorab okay. Ortschaft nicht zu überlaufen, toller Strand und großartiges Umland.

Que pour les pieds dans l'eau
Hôtel avec une situation géographique exceptionnel... Les pieds dans l eau. C est cet unique point qui conditionne les prix des chambres assez élevés. Car le reste est juste correcte. Certains points sont insuffisants comme la piscine intérieure sale, un petit déjeuner simplissime et par exemple une salade de fruits même pas du jour et donc des fruits vieillots.
