Peaceful break in amazing surroundings
The pool area is beautifully maintained and you can relax on comfortable loungers in the sun or the shade. It’s in the sun from about 9 to 6.30 (in late July). The owners discretely look after the pool each day and it is very clean and pleasant to swim in.
The house is very clean , and it is spacious with sufficient seating for everyone. It is very French with the charm of a Southern France house.
The kitchen is dated but it has all you need to prepare a meal. Some of the pots and pans are a little old.
The mattress in the double bed (green and blue room) is very comfortable but the bed is quite a small double. The single beds in the larger bedroom are a little short.
The property has shutters which help to keep the temperature down but fans in the bedrooms would help.
Overall a very pleasant break. The property is nicely secluded, yet about 15 mins drive from Cannes. Too far to walk to the beach but ideally located with a car to visit the area and the beaches of the Massif de L’Estérel.
The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We arrived extremely late but it was no problem. They also helped with our luggage on the last day as our plane wasn’t till much later in the day.
