Lovely place in Largs
The Woodhouse Hotel is a small, lovely friendly hotel where the service is superb and the cleanliness is excellent. A great choice if you are visiting Largs.

Lovely Short stay holiday at Woodside Hotel
Spent 3 night stay with family. Rooms were warm and comfortable. Amazing breakfast thanks to Willie and Lillian (proprietors) and we decided to have our evening meals in the Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed all that we had " Compliments to the chef." Everyone was kind and helpful and a special thanks to Rebeca for her pleasant way in serving us our meals and drinks and to the lady who helped us in with our bags. Would recommend the Hotel for dog owners.

The building decor is past it's best TBH, but clean and great staff. Breakfast was very good. Bed comfortable and room quiet. Garden bar is popular, though simple. Evening menu doesn't look inspiring but probably fine. In fact during the stay the hotel grew on us. The hotel is 10min walk north along the promenade and just back from the front

Has a great three night stay with family and the hosts were most welcoming. The rooms were a good size and very clean and comfy. Breakfast was a delight is an understatement

Nice location. Walking distance to the beach and town center. The room was comfortable and light. Service was excellent and breakfast was fantastic.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel as we visited for 2 nights had room with four poster and balcony which was lovely the hosts Lilian and Willie were very friendly and the beer garden is also a great area to relax. Good location 12 to 15 min walk to Largs centre would stay again if in the area

Fourth stay at Woodie's in the past 5 years. As always, great service, incredible breakfasts and two afternoons spent in the beer garden. Look forward to going back next year.

Nice hotel, good breakfast
The hotel was nice and the staff friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was good and plenty of choice. The room was nice but a bit small as was the bathroom and shower. We had everything we needed. We couldn’t get an evening meal there but you could get drinks in the garden which was good as it was a nice evening. Largs town centre was in easy walking distance and there were plenty of places to eat there.

Good hotel for location and hosts
Good location, great hosts and lovely food. Room average with very small shower space , areas of hotel are quite tired, but enjoyed our stay regardless.

Superb. Breakfast is amazing. Room is lovely. Sitting on the balcony in the evening is so peaceful. You can even see the ferries coming and going. Staff are friendly and greet you at the door. Will be coming back for sure.

Our bed was lovely and extremely comfortable but the room was very dated and very basic. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty but small. The hotel has potential and is in a great location but is desperately in need of updating. Our room was a four poster with a balcony but the decor and furnings and fittings (with the exception of the bed) were of very poor quality and very extremely dated and a little shabby. For the price it was disappointing.

My husband and I had an overnight stay with our dog at this family run hotel. Lovely room and delicious breakfast and very dog friendly. Ronnie really enjoyed the peanut butter and banana dog treats that were provided. Smashing stay.
