Right near downtown Lapeer, close to everything. I think they undersold how awesome the pool area is! There is a great pool, a giant waterfall (not to be played in) and a cheap arcade. I was with my nine-year-old nephew, and he loved it! The room was big, beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Front desk wasn't very pleasant. The hotel it self had a dirty feel and a smell to it that wasn't very pleasant. Very stuffy and air conditioning didn't work very well. Not to mention the tub had a hard time draining the water. When taking a shower there was water in the tub.

Overall, this hotel was an enjoyable stay. The spacious pool area & game room are well done & family friendly. The breakfast offered many choices. When walking the halls, one would think (by the dated carpet) that the hotel needs updates, but the rooms have been redone in a modern way, and they're spacious & comfortable. The only downside we could find was the carpet could use an update. We would stay here again.

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Our door was open when we arrived at the room and we wondered if we should go in……..the room smelled very musty. Our first impression of staying here was not positive.

There is no indication that there is not an elevator on site That was a huge hardship for me and I would not have stayed there if I had known Get with the times and put in an elevator!!

I wouldn't return or recommend
We rented 4 rooms here for one night. One room had blood splatter on the ceiling and the bathroom looked like it had puke in it, room 2 had a horrible odor to it as soon as you opened the door you could smell it. Smelled so foul we had to request another room. The third room we got was supposed to be a room with 2 queen beds but we were given a room with only 1 bed in it so we had to get yet another room! Finally the 4th room they got right. It was a king suite and appeared to be remodeled. The last room was ok. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hallways need updating. The one hallway smelled like urine. The carpet is outdated and dirty throughout. Hot tub was out of service. Breakfast in the morning was basic. Overall I wish we would have went to the Holiday Inn across the street.
