Stay was great, was a long term 3 month stay... and we had no issues of any relevance. Owners were attentive, and very communicative. Would definitely rent there again... and can recommend this location for future prospects.

Weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time in Michelle’s place! Location is beautiful and quiet, it’s close to shops etc. The house is stunning and had everything we needed! I would highly recommend a stay here and we will be back! Thanks so much, Michelle!

Loved the Cabin in the Cedars!

Our cabin was amazing!! Beautifully clean - great kitchen! But the bathroom!!! We could live in it! Best tub we have ever seen and the heated floors were wonderful! I.want to go home and renovate!

Cottage of my Dreams

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we walked through the front door our cares melted away. The cottage is set apart in a quiet forested / landscaped area that gives you privacy and great views out every window. This place checks all the boxes. I almost hate to give it this review because I want to keep it for myself. Stay here! You won’t be disappointed.

Centrally located oasis.

Beautiful house conveniently located between Nanaimo and Parksville. Grocery stores and other amenities very close by. We had everything we needed. Throughly enjoyable stay.

Cosy cottage in the woods

We stayed for three days in late August. The cottage is very new and nicely decorated. The setting is lovely and a short drive to restaurants and any shopping you might need.

Very enjoyable cottage in a private location.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would easily choose to stay again. We were visiting family for July in a other part of Lantzville, so used this place as our home base. It was very comfortable and secluded, giving us a quiet place to retreat in the evening. The cottage itself is stylishly decorated and very modern. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to explore this part of the island.

Wonderful home nestled in nature but close to the city.

Great place, lovely decor, clean and spacious and very accommodating hosts. Michelle even bought a bbq prior to our visit for us to use. Highly recommend!!!

A real gem of a property. The hosts were great to communicate with and went above and beyond to ensure everything was catered for. The cottage is unique and has a lot of character. The location was also perfect for exploring the mid to north of the island. Our kids loved the property also - smart TV, patio area and plenty of places to hide! Highly recommended.

Beautifully decorated and immaculate. We loved the kitchen (very well stocked with new utensils etc) and the fireplace was perfect to curl up in front of and watch a movie. 5 stars!

Perfect vacation home

We found a very nice cottage with perfect equipment in new condition. We were delighted with the wonderful and very well-kept outdoor area and the plants. It is an absolutely quiet location with excellent connections to the infrastructure of Nanaimo and Lantzville. For us it was a great starting point for excursions to beaches, waterfalls, hikes or whale watching tours. The nearest supermarket is 5 minutes away, the ferry 20 minutes.

Peaceful home away from home!

This cute little cottage nestled in the trees was an amazing place to stay. It was like a 5 star hotel and it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the private patio with a bbq. We sat out and drank our wine and barbecued 5 out of 7 nights. It was 30 plus degrees during our stay but the cottage was very comfortable. This location is very accessible to all amenities in Nanaimo. We visit Nanaimo multiple times a year and look forward to staying again.

Gorgeous cottage

We had the best time at the Cottage! We stayed there for 3 night with our little family, including 2 children 5 and under. The house was sparkling clean and so thoughtful decorated and furnished! It is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed BBQing and eating outside, loved seating on the patio listening to the birds while the kiddos were playing. The location is so quiet and peaceful, yet only minutes away from all major stores and highways. We definitely wish we had stayed there longer and would love to go back. Feeling very privileged that we had the chance to stay at the cottage!

Ideal

We had the most wonderful time in our eight day stay in this cottage in the woods. It is a beautiful place. It is new, with every detail as luxurious as can be. It was immaculately clean, serenely quiet, and equipped with everything you could need. Although it is tucked away in the beautiful forest, it is only minutes away from major roads, shopping and restaurants, and the scenic harbour and hiking trails of Nanaimo, and the places of interest from Duncan up to Parksville. We could not have been more delighted with this accommodation.
