Basic retro motel. Nice staff. Met our needs for a short stay. Room was clean and staff was helpful. Our bed sagged, and should be replaced but beyond that our stay was pleasant.

Older property in dire need of maintenance Room was dirty and dingy used faces cloth/rag was left over showerhead shower stall was filthy wore water shoes while showering limited office hours lockbox on door at 3 pm check in had to wait for office to open to get toilet paper Bedding was horrible burn hole in bedspread despite rooms advertising no smoking fitted sheet kept sliding off mattress floor tiles were sticky and dirty

Really nice stay… Room had everything needed. Check in was a breeze. We checked in after hours and it went seamlessly easy. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend. Could have had some curtains to block out the bright lights coming through the blinds but all in all a really great stay.

The best review I can give is I would definitely return and I was here once before. Everything is relative to price point - for the money, in this area, in these times, it’s a good deal. Fridge, microwave, bed is comfortable, tv works, it’s clean, shower decent. My best surprise is unlike so many places, noise does not vibrate through walls and coiling. Extra bonus is other guests were quite civilized - I did not smell weed once - a Miracle! As mentioned elsewhere there is no hands on service or housekeeping - this can be a plus too. Lockbox confused me (not a surprise) but I figured it out. Only real quibble is the sheets seemed to be polyester- cotton rules!

The office was locked when I arrived at 4:45pm and never stayed at this facility. I will request a refund of all monies issued to my credit card. When I called the number posted on the office door I was told “I can’t help you” and Hugo hung up the phone. I went to another hotel after traveling 700 miles!

It was no frills but clean, comfortable and quiet. I only need a room that I can sleep, shower and change in. The rest of the time I am gone although I did like having my morning coffee by the pool.

Lots of lights outside the windows with only blinds to cover windows. Was there for 14 days and never had maid service or saw anyone in the office. Key drop check in and out.

Hotel with no staff
First we could not find the hotel because it was under the former name. When our Uber driver dropped us off we didn’t know where the office was . When we found the office, it was closed. This was around 8:00pm. The note on the door stated office hours until 2:00pm and after that check your email for directions. We did and we finally got into our room. Leave the next day, the office was still closed and this was 10:00am. For a one night stay it was fine because we where heading on a cruise the next day.

Front desk staff always friendly and on top of things. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, pillows were great. They have everything we need for a week away…that’s why we choose to stay here when on vacation.

Convenient and pleasant staff. Classic vintage motel in an established neighborhood. Great historic market down the street. The property is on a well-traveled neighborhood road, so it is a bit noisy in the street-side motel rooms.

The lock on the door was broken. You could see down the sides of the blinds so there wasn’t much privacy. The pool needed a clean. Check in window was 3-5 or fees were added. Pretty poor to be honest

Dear valued guest,There was no mention to the desk of a broken lock.Exterior pool gets cleaned every Tues / Thursday. Due to in climate weather on a daily basis leaves and debris will be blowing in.Check in window is M-F 9-9 Sat-Sun 10-3 everyone getting self-check in thereafter for check in at any time so no windows.No additional fees for check in after hours? Never have been. Offers of refunds were declined. Thank you again for staying with us it was our pleasure. Please come again soon.

Made reservation on Jan 31 for stay night prior to cruise (26 Mar). Arrived at 4PM Sunday and NO SUCH LODGE EXISTS. Spent 20 minutes driving around block only to find out name was changed (without notifying us) to Acadia Lodge. Finally got to reception at 4:30 ONLY TO FIND THEY CLOSED THE OFFICE AT 2:30 ON SUNDAYS (again, NO NOTICE) Called number on Signage, got recording. Called "Emergency number from recording, yet ANOTHER recording. Spent 21/2 hrs UNINTERRUPTED time with Expedia agent who also could not get response. Recoding said they had forwarded "Remote Entry Instruction", as of today, 4/6, none have arrived. Gave up at 8:15PM and made reservations at different facility. TOTALLY DISSATISFIED. WILL DISPUTE ANY AND ALL CHARGES AND DEMAND REFUND.

Adequate for the price.
The lockbox instructions were a bit confusing. The room was clean but the remote for the air conditioner was not working so we could not adjust the fan speed which made for a noisy room. Also, they need to put up some type of black out curtains.
