Lovely resort and staff
Great place with amazing staff and they were great with our5 month old baby. The new year's Eve party was amazing! Good reef and sea is beautiful. Very friendly and welcoming.

A gem - great hotel with extremely friendly staff
We stayed here for 2 nights during our vacation in Thailand. Guests are immediately welcomed with a refreshing drink. Rooms were clean and the beach was easily accessible. Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good time. They can also arrange day trips and longtail boats for your departure. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. A gem.

Great island getaway
When too many Thai people stay in hotel it becomes a bit annoying at the restaurant when your order is completing last.

Happy with our stay
We booked two rooms. The reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty standard, but very clean. The food quality and taste is the best on the island after we compared to other top rated restaurant on the island. Prices were not more expensive either. The cave tour booked from this resort slightly cost less than the next door resort. The only downside was the rocky beach where we had to cross to our boat.

Scenic Escape
Thapwarin is a grand place for relaxing. The staff were lovely. We found the food quite bland but just make sure you ask for it HOT if you like spice. The kayak hire was fun. There is a pontoon owned by an adjacent hotel out in the sea that we swam to. Bring sea shoes, When the tide is out there can be a fair few sea urchins lurking near the shore. The room was large but there were quite a few holes in the walls meaning we were on mozzie watch before bed. Also woke up to a hermit grab trying the get out of the door?? Made us laugh. There is a large water Monitor lizard on the premises that swims in the pond. He likes to hide under the decking, :) There are a few other places to eat on the island, further up: Chom View and Campsite Restaurant. But the tide comes in quick at night so keep an eye on it. Look ou out for Toucans, Crabs, Lizards and an array of fish.

We like this resort so much, especially the beach front restaurant & bar... We like the most the sun bed at the bar, enjoy our drinks and the sea breeze there.... Friendly staffs and beach activities is a plus point

Real bounty island resort
Fantastic location. We stayed in one of the beach front bungalows with a stunning view. Great snorkeling from hotel beach, very friendly staff, good food and a nice relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend it.

Island retreat
Second stay here as the resort's charming and Ko Ngai sublime. This time peak season with everything over-priced. I would expect more attention to detail when paying near U$200 p/night: better breakfast, better bathroom amenities but the service here is always delivered with an eagerness to please and a smile : )

alone on an island paradise
I had the great fortune of being the only person staying here, which means I also had the entire beach to myself and enjoy all its splendor in peace and quiet. I would highly highly recommend this place as a picture-postcard perfect spot to take in the natural wonder that is Thailand.

Fint hotell i små hyddor men bra storlek och sköna sängar. Kanoter och snorkelutrustning till gratis utlåning. Dock tumme ner för frukosten då den var väldigt dåligt utbud, saker tog slut snabbt osv. Vi var missnöjda med maten på kvällen med men fick byta rätt när vi ville lämna tillbaka maten då den inte var färdiglagad.

Personnel limite parlant un anglais très pauvre, pour un resort comme cela ce n'est pas très pro. État fatigué de la chambre et pas propre quand nous sommes arrivés, exemple, la poubelle était encore pleine... Idéalement situé, au moins cela on ne peut l'enlever.

Les cottages sont vieillissants. Le bois qui les composent est mangé par les termites. L'hôtel est cependant bien intégré à son environnement vert. Les varans se baignent dans la petite marre au centre de l'hôtel. Les chaises en bord de mer sont "réservées" dès le matin et elles ne sont pas assez nombreuses. Le petit déjeuner est très décevant. Peu de choix et nourriture de basse qualité. Cependant on vient vous chercher gratuitement en zodiac le jour de votre arrivée sur l'ile.

Enkelt men trevligt hotell.
Trevligt hotell som ligger lite avskilt på ena delen av stranden. Vid lågvatten på förmiddagen är det lite svårt att bada pga av korallerna. Personalen är bra och väldigt hjälpsam. Maten var också helt ok även om vi ofta valde mindre restauranger på övriga delar av stranden.

Leppoisaa lomailua
Rauhallinen, rannan "päädyssä" sijaitseva kiva kohde. Vuorovesivaihtelu kohtuullisen suuri jlisäksi kova aallokko vierailumme aikana haittasi snorklailua. Hotellin edessä oleva riutta oli kuitenkin ihan kiva. Suosittelen rantabungalovia, mahtavat näkymät suoraan sängystä. High seasonin aikaan voi olla ruuhkaisaa.

Vi hade det väldigt mysigt, lungt och skönt på Thapwarin. Jättefina bungalows som ligger precis vid stranden. Koh Ngai är perfekt om man vill bada, snorkla, dyka eller bara slappa på stranden. Precis lagom mycket folk på ön när vi var där.

Pas un bon rapport qualité/prix... l'hotel est éloigné de la plage principale, des poubelles coté plage, les abords ne sont pas soignés, les chambres sont vétustes et nécessiteraient un peu de rafraîchissement.

Mysig resort i underbara omgivningar
Oerhörd mysig liten resort, ligger vid en avskild del av stranden. Det är andra gången vi är här och vi planerar att återvända igen. Väldigt trevlig personal, god mat och bra frukost. Framför allt ett underbart ställe att bara vara på. Rekommenderar boendet.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Lage! Zu empfehlen sind auf alle Fälle die Strandbungalows! Der Service im Restaurant ist etwas unorganisiert! Das Meer geht bei Ebbe ziemlich weit zurück. Badeschuhe sind empfehlenswert, da ziemlich viele tote Korallen herum liegen!

Alles in allem akzeptabel. Wenn man mit realistischen Erwartungen hin geht kann man im Thapwarin auf Koh Ngai einige schöne Tage verbringen

Bra, men noen små innvendinger.
De som jobbet på restauranten var fantastiske, morsomme og glade men litt sene med å rydde av bordene osv. Resepsjonistene var gode i engelsk, og hjalp oss med det vi trengte + guttene som holder orden ute på området var alltid hyggelige. Stranden var ok, ikke mer eller mindre. Noen dager var maten veldig bra, mens andre dager var den nesten kald når vi fikk den servert, god pasta stort sett og alltid bra thai mat(litt små porsjoner, men smaken var bra) Butikken på hotellet var stengt under hele vårt opphold(5 netter) det var synd, for det var ett stykke til en annen resort med åpen butikk. Spaet var en unik opplevelse, anbefales!!! Helt fantastisk!!

Schöne Bungalows, sehr nettes Personal, schönes Riff zum schnorcheln. Frühstück gut. A La Carte Abendessen etwas teuer und kleine Portion. Der Strand ist schmal, 5 Gehminuten entfernt jedoch breit. Insgesamt finde ich den Zimmerpreis recht hoch. In dieser Preislage hätte ich etwas mehr „Luxus „ erwartet.

Sehr nettes Personal, besonders an der Rezeption wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Die Zimmer/Bungalows sind ausreichend groß und recht gut ausgestattet, zu große Erwartungen sollte man aber nicht haben. Der Strand ist wie überall auf der Insel sehr schön, Strandliegen und Stühle stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung

Nice small hotel DirectX at the beach
Thapwarin resort is a place of tranquility. We stayed two nights which seems like a good period oder relaxing just a few steps away from the beach. There wäre enough spots to lay down. Definately, swimming is better during flood, but all the other times you can observe "working" crabs and all the animals dealing with the tide. It could be a little bit more tidy around the warins in the back, you might find plastic and bottles next to your terrace. Nevertheless, these days were what expected. Thank you.
