Awesome, slope-side rental for large group
We were a group of 5 couples, who do an annual ski trip. This unit was in a perfect spot for ski in/out, and felt more than large enough to accomodate a group of our size (which is rare). We do all cooking in house, so were happy to see a full kitchen, stocked with all of the tools we would need. The hot tub was large and clean. Great stay! We would love to come back.

We were unable to check in at our time. No one manned the 24hr response center after 4:30pm. Had to deep dive the owner of the property management company to reach anyone. Finally checked in four and a half hours late.

Absolutely Amazing ! Whole family loved it !
This is our third year staying at Northstar Chalet , we are avid skiers and absolutely love the ski in ski out option!! The chalet is amazing for families , lots of room to spread out , watch movies, enjoy the Mountain View’s and soak in the hot tub . We already have next year booked I don’t think any words could be used to describe how much we absolutely love Kimberley and the North Star chalet !!! Thank you for letting us stay !!!

Great property management, great location, very comfortable home. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. Living room is perfect for watching movies and apre-ski. This is our second time staying and the house is perfect.

Family Getaway
Our family came to Kimberley for a Christmas ski trip. We stayed at the Northstar Chalet and were very impressed with our lodging. With 8 people, it was definitely nice to have all the space. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub! The only downside was that the t-bar next to our chalet was not in operation and we weren’t able to actually “ski in, ski out” as the reservation said. We would definitely return to this chalet in the future.

Spacious Property for our Golf trip
We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space! Hot tub is fantastic, great views off the deck and stocked with all the essentials. Had some minor hiccups obtaining the check in instructions and working the TV, but other than that our stay was great.

Amazing stay!
My friends and I had an absolutely amazing stay, we do these group trips every year and this was the best place we have stayed so far. Clean, lots of space and the little details like heated floors and anything you could ever need in the kitchen. Would 100% stay here again and hope too next year! Thank you!!!!!!

Everything we were looking for!
The property was exactly as described. It was perfect for our group of adults, and children of varying ages. The true ski-in/ski-out aspect made it extremely easy to drop kids off part way through the day if they didn't want to continue skiing. The chalet is laid out in a way that it is easy for people to have their own space if needed. Hot tub was a treat at the end of each day, as well!

Firstly, I had to reach out the day prior to our check in date to get the “check in”instruction email. I was originally told ,in a too bad so sad sort of a tone, that the person responsible was gone away and there was nothing she could do to get us into the build for our 6 night stay. Once this was rectified and we did get the code to the door it didn’t take long to realize the hot tub was empty. Trying to get information on if this was going to be fixed and up and running for our stay was difficult. I called several times and left a couple messages. The response was once again, sorry things break feel free to ask for a refund through VRBO if you’d like. The cavalier attitude and dismissive tones made it feel as if these were common complaints! Eventually I was able to speak with the maintenance man, and he sounded genuinely sorry for the issue with the hot tub, however anticipated it would NOT be fixed until spring. Very disappointed with the communication and l believe the hot tub has been an on going issue!

Hi Justin, So sorry that you had experienced what you did when you were trying to check in. As you can see by our many 5 star reviews, this does not happen at all so I am sorry that it did with you. We send out the arrival information within the week prior to each guests arrival but sometimes this email does not reach the guest or lands in the guests spam mail. We have no control nor do we know if you have opened the email with the information you required. We would only know if you call or email us to request it again, which we promptly sent again to you. The hot tub issue was a persistent leak that could not be found and it was becoming worse so the tub had to be emptied to be repaired which it was. This should have been communicated with you, apologies that it seemingly was not. We are happy to hear that you all enjoyed the home as you did though. All the best

Property itself was great. Lots of stairs, the listing did not describe the layout well. Not enough supplies provided for the week- paper towel, toilet paper, etc. Also the hot tub had not been maintained and ice maker on the fridge didn't work. However the skiing was excellent! Great location for the kids to ski the Tbar.

Could not ask for a better location. The condo was beautiful, clean and spacious to accompany our three families. We had the best time and are booked for next year. Communication was quick and met our need’s immediately.

Great Place
this was a great place to stay with family, there are a lot of stairs being a split level, but we were all young enough! The listing shows 2 master bedrooms with ensuits , however there is only actually 1. We ran short of towels as there was 11 of us staying in the unit and only enough towel sets for 6 people so we just used the beach towels for the hot tub. Great Place, very clean and well appointed!

Very nice, large property
Awesome stay with only some very minor hiccups that were handled straight away after a quick email. Slept 7 men comfortably, but could have slept 8 with one on the quite private sofa bed downstairs. The hot tub is large enough for 7 or 8 adults. Overall would highly recommend this property.

The property is beautiful and excellent for a large group to gather and has space to not crowded. The kitchen is well stocked with items to use and cook with. We only had one tea towel and dishcloth for the entire four days, we looked in all drawers and closets, and no more were to be found; I asked the property manager to have more dropped off, and none were delivered. We also found no extra garbage bags in the house or paper towels. Items that help care for and keep the property tidy. Highly recommend the property.

This property is absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for anything more. It is located right on the owl tee bar which was extremely convenient for our group. The view from the balconies is gorgeous. The quality of the bedding was fantastic. The entire property was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed. I would love to stay here again, dreaming of that steam shower...

We enjoyed our stay in this very roomy property. The kitchen is very well equipped with a large table to seat everyone, the beds are great and enough for everyone. The only problems we had were the lights on the hot tub deck, we couldn't figure out how to turn them on and the alarm on the back door kept going off and there didn't seem to be a code we could enter.

We loved the amount of space this place gave us. We were two families with 5 teenagers. We loved how we weren’t tripping over each other and no one had to sleep on a pull-out couch. The hot tub was a welcome place to warm up after a long day on the mountain. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only downside was the kitchen needed a better cleaning. Especially the touch points on the cupboards. They were quite grimy. Despite that we had a great time and we would like to come back again. This was our 5th annual family ski trip and it would be great to come back to this place again for our 6th annual trip.

Larger than expected living and kitchen areas. Nice to have 2 master bedroom areas. No bathroom on living or kitchen levels (4 level split) and lots of stairs, if mobility is an issue. Very well equipped and maintained, would definitely rent again.

Perfect for family ski trip
We have stayed many places in Kimberley with small children, and this one was the absolute best for ski in/ski out. The Christmas tree was a gorgeous touch, and once we got the hot tub working it was great! We did require Maintenace to fill it so it would heat up. Many comfy beds and modern decor. Lots of space to spread out. Communication with condo rep was excellent and efficient, and we did have a few issues and concerns which they acknowledged promptly. One major problem which was dealt with was the media system was extremely complex. We travel a lot and this was one of the most sophisticated yet also complex systems. It was frustrating when we all wanted to sit down for a family movie on the great room and couldn’t get a movie playing on any of the media. There is a handbook but it did not help until someone came to show us how to use it. The basement TV only had Shaw cable (that we could determine), and the basement bedroom TV would not work. We did not try other TVs. We were here to ski and this place delivered. We would definitely go back now that we know how to get a movie going. All things considered, it was a wonderful stay and great way to spend an isolation vacation over Christmas!

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. It was bigger than expected, very well stocked with kitchen supplies and even extra toiletries, extremely clean, and a perfect location for ski-in, ski-out. We had 6 adults and 5 kids and had more than enough space for all of us! Would definitely stay here again

Best family trip ever!
We can’t say enough good things about this property! Checking in was easy, communication was great and the condo was stunning! Our 3 generation family stayed here for a family ski vacation (ages 3-66). There was plenty of room and the condo had everything we needed. The location is steps away from the T-bar so we grabbed our skis, skies down the trail to the quad and we were skiing in minutes! The extra touches like boot dryer, heated pads to hot tub, and every other thoughtful touch made our stay the best trip ever. Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely amazing! Larger than anticipated. Family Christmas vacation, when we walked in and saw the huge Christmas tree we were in awe. This unit had everything you could think of and more, all you need to bring is yourself and food. Location on the ski hill was prime. Ladies Annual Golf Trip
This property was perfect for our over 50’s group and provided so much space! It was wonderful that there were plenty of glasses, cutlery and plates for the whole group and even basic herbs , salt and pepper were available. Rooms were fabulous and beds very comfortable! Would never hesitate to recommend this condo to others, because the cost was very reasonable and I hope it will be available when I organize our next trip! Lynn

Best vacation rental we've ever found
This place is spacious and stocked with everything you need and more. It truly feels like you are home. Everything was in great to new condition and unit is very well cared for. We loved all the space and that everyone had their own room. Ski in / ski out with T-bar right out the back door. We will definitely be back!
