We booked 2 adults and 1 kid in this not cheap hotel. Hoping can give my husband and daughter a Japanese flavor experience. The hotel is old and looks very poor from outside. Inside has some nice lighting and colorful windows.
Upon our arrival, the staff advised us that we didn’t pay for kid breakfast, as the amount is not significant, we didn’t argue but didn’t understand why we booked 3 including breakfast but kid is not excluded (very confusing). Then went into this traditional room, quite small, everything only provided for 2 people- 2 futons; pillows; quilts. The instructions show as 2 twin futons but staff said futon only has one size, we have to pay extra over 6000 yen for another set. Eventually the hotel manager, a very nice lady, helped out but the experience is confusing, misleading and not very pleasant. This is one of the most expensive hotels we lived. Not happy about it. But thanks for the lovely lady manager still.
