The heated toilet and the hot water in the bathroom was great, but I noticed that the sheets hadn’t been changed. Stuff that was on the sheets, were also on the floor that it spilled. I wrote the hotel through Expedia in Korean since the front desk guy didn’t speak English and no one got back to me to get the sheets changed. No one was at the front desk at 10 PM or even at 10 AM the next morning. I didn’t get to sleep on the bed my first night. I laid down some bath towels and laid at the edge of the bed. On the second day when I got back and everything was still dirty, and no one had gotten back to me on the Expedia app, I was really upset. So I didn’t even attempt to lay on the bed that night. I stayed up, packed my luggage and just waited for the hours to tick by so I could go to the airport for my flight out of Korea. Except for the first day when I checked in around 2 in the afternoon, I never saw anyone at the front desk again and they clearly don’t check the email from Expedia.
I cannot believe the sheets were so filthy, the pillow smelled so bad, the bathroom didn’t have a lot of mildew like other bathrooms in many hotels that I stayed at, but behind the toilet seat and around the toilet weren’t cleaned properly. It’s just an overall gross feeling in the room and the room didn’t smell good. Just because something is inexpensive doesn’t mean it can’t have basic cleanliness. And the staff not being available for anything is unacceptable.
