My friend and I were traveling on motorcycles. One of the days it was raining and they let us park our bikes under the covered area where you drive in to check in the hotel with no problems. We really appreciated it.

This hotel cannot handle too high of an occupancy there was no hot water to shower. When I called the front desk they said too many people were using the water and to wait maybe an hour and try again. Pretty crazy to me to expect guest to wait an hour for hot water.

The property was nice, it is fairly new and kept nice and clean.
When we got to our room it was very cold. My daughter turned on the thermostat and no luck. I went to the wall heater and was able to get some heat, but never got very warm. We looked for more blankets and no extras in the room.
So I thought I would get a hot shower and warm up. The bathroom was ice cold and the water not much warmer!
I liked the hotel but was very disappointed in the lack of warmth!
Note: I didn't call the front desk and ask if we could change rooms, I think they would of had us do that if possible. I didn't want to change rooms, we were exhausted from our drive and my hubby was already sleeping by the time I made it to the shower...

Clean , pretty new hotel, but outside very smelly , wasn't bad sheets ready , so i went to reception and bring it by myself, also pool was out of order, but we booked this place because they have pool . So our kids got disappointed. Beds were comfortable .

The new hotel room was very good, however, the free breakfast was bland. Our bathroom was missing a key amenity (body wash container was broken) but room service fixed it pretty quickly.

Me and my family would give this location a 3 out of 5 i booked my room on Expedia and on the site it says check in at 3pm we get to the hotel at 3:48pm only to find out check in is at 4pm so we had to wait in our car for 32min until our room was ready.We got a suite that accommodates 6 people we are a family of 5 so we had to take showers coming into town to get ready for our event only to find out they don’t really have hot water so we couldn’t all take showers which was very disappointing.This hotel is nice though but just things like that made our stay a little upsetting.

We usually love Holiday Inn Express but this one was terribly lacking. The worst part was NO hot water in the shower. Now, you don’t know this until you are taking a shower. At which point, we just stayed in the room and went to bed. We did call and tell the front desk, also the shower head was leaking but all we got was a “ I don’t know why you don’t have hot water, I’ll have to ask my manager”. Never heard back-then there was the whole hotel waking up at 230 to a fire alarm. Never heard why. Breakfast was just disappointing-not much there. At the price point-you’d best find another hotel

The hotel is in great shape and well taken care of and our room was very nice and clean. Our stay at the hotel was great. But i do feel that Hotels.com doesn't tell you everything. I had an event in the MontereySalinas area. It puts in highlights on the list of hotels because the distance is 27 miles away. What they dont tell you is on Weekdays traffic is horrendous and what should be a 30-45 min drive can be 1 and a 1/2 to 2 hours because the city is almost land locked in andcstop and go traffic is everywhere no matter what path you take. Sad for the hotel but wont stay there if doing business in the Monterey/Salinas better to pay the higher price.
