Awesome, loved it...cant recommend more highly. Kiro is ideally located and in our opinion a boutique property, don't hesitate to give this hotel a try.

Not the best
I was not impressed by this hotel. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel, with bunk beds in the room. I also didn't like the alley where the hotel was located, as it felt a bit dark and unsafe. Cleanliness was also the worst I've experienced in Japan (though still not bad) with some random stains on the furniture, which itself seemed a bit dated. However, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and I found the availability of a shared kitchen very convenient, especially because breakfast was just absolutely the worst (a pancake with cheesy eggs and ice cold orange juice). Transportation was about a 10-15 minute walk, so the location was OK.

Good location but room leaves much to be desired.
The hotel is centrally located. The loft in the room is made out of cheap wood and the beds are very firm. Plus, there were long hairs in the bed and bathroom (we both have short hair). The staff is very nice however

As a place to stay it was very good size. Unfortunately this doesn’t equate to quality. Beds and pillows have been the worst I’ve experienced in Japan. Like sleeping on concrete along with the pillow.

Fantastic!
We loved this hotel! The location was fantastic, with great food and shopping options around the corner, and quite central to attractions. We couldn't walk to the hotel from Hiroshima station with our suitcases, but a taxi was only about Y1500, and once we were settled everything was accessible on foot. Our room was beautiful, very quiet, and had a good amount of floor space (in Japanese terms). The bathroom was also spacious and had a good sized bath and shower. We appreciated the ammenities bar in the lobby, where we could access whatever we needed - very eco-friendly by reducing unneeded waste. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. We appreciated their English skills in helping us settle in and access the local area with tips and ideas. We didn't try the breakfast, but the Poolside bar was beautiful and full of sunshine. The communal kitchen was available and never seemed busy. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Hiroshima.

Stylish industrial vibe with great service
An absolutely beautiful hotel tucked away behind a main street in the centre of things. Comfortable, stylish and excellent service. The lounge area in the old swimming pool is lovely, and a nice alternative space (the kitchen area was also really useful).

Cool industrial theme hotel
Family of 4 with 2 young kids and had a great stay. Room was small but “enlarged” with the loft bunk bed for 2. The google map tag seems to be tagged to the hospital which caused a confusion for us. It is just beside the craft beer bar and a tan tan men shop. Located close to amenities and eateries though slightly dinghy behind the main chuo dori street. A cool industrial themed hotel.

We had a room in the attic which gave us some extra space. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We liked the shared laundry and lounge area. It was great having a small coffee shop in the lobby that made excellent coffee.

Super cute boutique hotel with very minimalist industrial styling. Clean, modern, stylish. My son loved the loft bed. The 'poolside bar' is amazing and worth checking out just for the photo ops.

A great stay in Hiroshima
We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great concept- very modern. They have a shared kitchen where you can actually prepare something for yourself. It’s a pretty quick (10 min) walk to Peace Plaza. The breakfast was excellent! Our room was pretty spacious (we were in one of the rooms with the extra bed). Bathroom and amenities were nice. Wifi strong. Coffee shop downstairs and craft beer place next door. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Note Google Maps didn’t have the location exactly right but we found our way there- perhaps management can work with google maps to correct this.

This bright, modern hotel is in the perfect location in Hiroshima. Located barely 30 seconds from Okonomimura (via the back entrance), we ate dinner on a different floor here each night. Hondori isn't far off either, providing a lot of shopping and dining, and an easy path straight to the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Dome. Just down the street is Fukuromachi Park where, in November, the Grand Inoko Matsuri is held - suspending a large boulder from 88 bamboo poles. The hotel itself was very clean. The rooms were compact, but well organized and never felt cramped. Great bathroom as well! The laundry facilities were also convenient. There is also a large communal kitchen and workspace that I wish we had taken advantage of sooner. The staff were all very friendly throughout our stay. I very much recommend staying here!

My time at Kiro was pretty great. The location is perfect for sightseeing or really anything you are wanting to get into while in Hiroshima. The hotel itself as a lovely little cafe and a nice restaurant. Surely will go again if I go back to visit Hiroshima.

A little GEM!
Absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel was super central to all the sites and eating places. The rooms were super modern, extremely clean and well stocked with amenities. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Checking in and checkout was effortless. Would highly recommend it to families travelling to Hiroshima.

Very clean hotel, great for families with a wonderful spot to eat. Customer service was also excellent. Location of this hotel is INCREDIBLE! Close to everything you could possibly want to visit.

Great new hotel, really bright and clean. Convenient location on a quiet street, easy walking distance of good restaurants and lots of things to do. Close enough to tram stop. Only downside was the pillows were pretty hard, but that’s personal taste and can’t criticise the hotel at all. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again.

It’s a brand new, modern looking hotel. There’s a shared kitchen where you can sit, cook food, work on your laptop etc. The internet connection is fast and the best part is the location!! It’s right in the middle of the city centre, surrounded with plenty or restaurants and shops in just 1 minute walk. The only downside is that they don’t have a smoking room so if you want to go out and have a cigarette, you’ll need to cross the road and walk around 5 minutes to get to a smoking area. The beds are really comfortable!! Other than that, lovely hotel!!

This was an immaculate hotel with helpful staff. We got the bunkbed room and it was nice to use the third bed as a sofa. There is useful visitor information at the table in the back of the lobby. The bar upstairs is lovely and a great place to read although their drink selections for us were limited to vodka/shochu infusions and asahi or corona on tap.

Very helpful and friendly reception. Comfortable beds. Great location for eating, visiting the sights. Relaxed bar. Great shared facilities- laundry, kitchen. Coffee bar!
