We loved the staff most especially. And the room we had was glorious: the tiling, the high ceilings, the details in the ceiling, the big bathroom, comfortable beds, and more. This place is a jewel in Havana.

The property was beautiful and amazing. Staff was gracias. Be prepared for sporadic WiFi connectivity and music late into the night. We were there 7 nights. Overall excellent! We would come back and stay at Al Sol Suite 🇨🇺

Very nice large suite for good reasonable price for Havana vieja , on the corner of plaza vieja and close to many bars and restaurants , great , all staff very nice and high level service , can recommend this place to everyone , will go back next time

прекрасный отель в самом центре Гаваны. Улица в паре кварталов от туристического, вылизанного центра столицы Кубы и это все меняет. Вокург вы увидите как живут кубинцы. Алекс человек с большим сердцем и широкой душой. Очень добрый и отзывчивый. Если вернусь в Гавану, то остановлюсь вновь у него

I would recommend anyone coming to Havana to stay here. The owner Mara is incredibly helpful…. Speaks perfect English…. and all the staff are lovely!! The breakfasts were wonderful….. the room large and comfortable…. and it is ideally located. Quite frankly it was superb in all ways! We extended our stay three nights as we so enjoyed it!!!

One of the best places in Havana Vieja
The room was perfect, not big, but huge, the service was even better, and the breakfast was excellent, and you could even choose what you wanted! For tea-people like me, it's one of the few places where they have prepared plenty of tea gas of different flavors; they prepare a teapot and not just a tiny cup of hot water. Trust me, this is in Cuba quite rare :-)

When booking this property we were not aware of the area it was on, it was not especially clear that it is in the very old, very small, narrow old Havana streets just outside the tourist centre. The tourist centre was about a block away, the staff was hospitable and communicative although they spoke no English. The lady was telling us to be weary as we are tourists but the area is safe and we did not encounter any strange or alarming situations. This place is also very hard to find. The room was spacious and clean, there is a common kitchenette shared with other units, and a private living area w dining room in the unit, great A/C system and a small balcony in room (2nd floor) with a view of the immediate vicinity. The washroom while modern and exactly like the photos- had no A/C, it was hot, it had a strong odour when we arrived and barely running water, not enough to shower it was like trickling and barely enough to wash your hands. Wifi and Breakfast were additional charge. It’s good and central for a very brief stay in old Havana but if you’re there more than one night, there are other options. Also no parking, they were concerned about our car parked on the narrow alleyway but there is a camera right outside and we had view of it. Many key locks, one for the front door, one to the ”main housing” unit, and one on the inside and outside of the unit door.

Thank you very much for your comment and evaluation. We believe that there is a bit of contradiction in it. On the Expedia site you will find the exact address of our accommodation as well as the places we have very close for your reference. Our accommodation is located in the historic center, where you can explore everything on foot and you don't need transportation at all. Parking is also explained on the website that there is no parking and what does exist is nearby and free of charge, a place where even neighbors park. The area is quite quiet as you say and we have so many keys for the security of the building, our accommodation and your room, I think that is not a problem. In the bathroom we have never seen one with air conditioning, this really catches our attention. Because of the little water and the strong smell, we will check immediately because this does not happen. Continental breakfast is included in the price, now if you want something else not included there is a charge. For the rest, it was a pleasure to have you

The place is beautiful and convenient. I rated average for property and facilities because the air conditioning broke for number of days. That is when it was uncomfortably. But staff kept me updated on when it will be fixed. Thank you and yes I will visit again

We are really sorry for the inconvenience of the air conditioning but this was due to an overload in one of the phases, this happened in the other houses on our street as well, being that the electric company is the one who went to fix the problem since it affected an entire neighborhood. Once again we feel the discomfort caused. It will be a pleasure for us to have you in our accommodation whenever you wish.

Cuba was an incredible experience, it was a little bit sad to face and see the conditions about how people live but people is so kind. At the property Aymara, Carlos and the girls cleaning they were amazing, I have no words to describe how Aymara make us feel. I highly suggest to stay here, she is the best explaining and sharing more of her culture. So happy to know her

Para estar pocas noches sirve, el lugar es limpio, remodelado y el desayuno bien, pero para estadias largas no lo recomiendo, ya que se escuchan mucho los ruidos de la calle y es dificil dormir. Tengan en cuenta que se paga aparte el wifi por habitacion por noche.

Sin duda alguna lo mejor de este lugar es la ubicacion, cerca a todos los sitios turisticos de La Habana. El servicio es super bueno, estan dispuestos a ayudarte, son muy amables. Las habitaciones son grandes y limpias.

Todo fue como lo esperábamos, salvo el internet que fue un dolor de cabeza, ya que llovía o había viento y nos quedábamos sin internet y de igual forma te cobran por día el servicio
