It's an older highway motel. Not bad but not much you can do about the location and age. A/C is set at a temp which was too hot for us and beds weren't great so not a great night of sleep. Absolutely wonderful service. A fine stop.
I liked everything at the property but the WIFI was really slow and wouldn't let me use either of my VPN encription web safety programs for internet safety. Every time I used VPN their WIFI kicked out and I found out that their end was kicking against this from Norton help people.

room not what we ask for. smelled bad. shower curtain made the shower hard to use. parking was impossible to find parked in a no parking spot. staff was helpful & friendly
Just be aware that if you go to the brightleaf during golfing season you may wind up in rooms surrounded by raucous golf parties. We were kept awake until between 1 and 3 a.m. for each night of our state because of a large party of men acting like inconsiderate high schoolers with music crank loud singing and yelling and no consideration for other guests. We have stayed at the brightleaf before and been very pleased, even when it was during such golf gatherings because the room we had at the time was separated from the main group of motel rooms. This time we were right in the middle of it all. It was horrible
We did not receive the room that was advertised/ paid for, which was disappointing. Luckily there was room for the pack in play. Staff was polite/ friendly.
We stayed for 10 days and for many days in a row, I didn't receive any housekeeping or fresh towels. It was very annoying. I didn't receive any special rates for an extended stay which sometimes means you forego some of the daily cleaning. Other than that, the stay was fine. Not many hotels to choose from in that area.

The remodeled rooms were very nice and comfortable. The toilet had a small leak at the base, not a big deal though. However no ice in the ice machine. Overall a good value.

Very comfortable beds. Great shower. Room was clean but lacked some amenities like a bag for dirty clothes. Was close to town but not within walking distance. Still overall a nice place to stay.

Hotel could not find my reservation and was full. We were given a condo that was off site and not owened by hotel. It had bare minimum furnishings. Air conditioner was off and must have been 100% inside. No toilet paper and was told there was nothing they could do about it. We had to use paper towels. Towels looked like cleaning rags. No soap. Just Bad!

When we got there after telling them we would be late they had given our room away that contained 2 queen beds/ They informed us they were putting us next door in a condo that hadn't been cooled for several days and consisted of two double beds with the men along weighing over 250 lbs. Not too comfortable for 2 people in a bed..The condo di
d not cool off until four a.m. Also the tv in the bedroom was not working . We called and they were very rude and would not take care of the problem. Won't ever stay there again because they did not one thing to take care of the problem or refund the difference in the rooms. If we have another problem like this with you all we will go somewhere else

The lady you spoke with was 87 years old and it was very late when you called we don't have maintenance on site that late. So I'm sorry if she came off "rude". The hotel was nice and clean. It was a bit dated but everything was in perfect working order. We stayed during off-season so very quite. The location was perfect and within easy driving to everything we wanted and needed. It was a good value and would stay there again.
The roo.s were a bit small, but beds were very comfortable. I liked the counter over the microwave/ fridge area. I liked that there was a table in the room. There was a rocking chair outside each door which wad nice. The staff were all very nice.

This place was something we booked last minute to go to the worlds longest yardsale and most places were booked so we ended up here at the golf resort. It was a nice room served its purpose. It had a nice bathroom and even had a microwave although the glass in the bottom wasn't the right one and didn't spin. No biggie. The pool was really nice. They had a restaurant with only a B rating though. We ate there and the food was really not that good IMO. Overcooked, tasteless. We ate one dinner and one breakfast. We opted to eat out after that. BUT staff was very friendly and it was a good stay (2 nights) The golfers were all having a great time and the course was beautiful. This is a long time family owned place and if you like gold it would be a great stay!

Clean and had necessities
Clean room with basic necessities. Beautiful area. Hotel Resturant was terrible.
The hotel was great , room was clean staff was friendly , the only problem was loud people partying outside our room , but that was no fault of the hotel just rude people , otherwise the stay was great
I checked in and hotel didnt have any running water!! I changwd rooms 2 times b/c of spiders n bettles in the tub. Then next room frig and AC wasnt working. The 3rd roo. Was very hot b/c they keep the air off. So my kids and I lost entire nights sleep b/c the room took all night to cool down. The 3rd room was okay. Nobody apologized nor offered a discount for my troubles
