Stayed here for the eclipse and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and polite, great location to restaurants and a good view of moose head lake, definitely going back!

No Bang for the Buck
We were on a trip for our 35th anniversary. The place gets quite a shine on the internet, but what we were expecting and what was there....this is a 100.00 a night hotel room, not for any reason is it worth $249..The room WAS clean, it IS a nice place to stay, but in no way, shape or form worth what we paid. If you aee a booking offered here for $120 bucks, do it. Anything more than that ? Keep Googling, youll find something

Great place to stay!
Moose Mountain Inn was a great place to stay. Great location and easy to find. Rooms were pretty large and very clean. View was rustic but unable to see Moosehead Lake due to tree coverage. Would definitely recommend.

That was quite location and nice clean room to sleep at night. We relaxed to be here. Small thing I was missing, donuts and dark coffee in the morning. Otherwise nice place to stay.

Very happy with our stay. Personnel were friendly and quick to help. Rooms are comfortable. Beds are on the harder side , but slept great. Very easy to get to. We lost power due to winds from hurricane Lee, but they have a generator so we weren’t without power. Very close to restaurants and shopping in Greenville.

Good but not great
Positive: Very friendly staff, room was clean, great location. Negative: close to main road so lots of traffic noise, bathtub had latex paint peeling which made it slippery, pool railing was loose for anyone who needed to use it, myself included, they do not offer a discount to vets which i find wrong, towel rack in the bathroom was loose and toilet kept running when flushed. Nothing terrible just annoying little things.

Nice one night stay,,there is no view like listed, front desk very helpful room clean and comfy but the rug felt wet..for that reason we wore our shoes other than that place is ok..looks just like the pictures..smells clean too..probley wont go back as we would try somewhere closer to town...

The location and charming lodge decor really made this a great place for our family’s stay. We wanted to search for moose, and the man in the office was super helpful in guiding us to hot spots, and although we didn’t see any our rooms were so clean, cute and comfortable that we still had a wonderful time. It was very nice for shopping and dining to be out of the center of town yet not inconvenient at all to get there, while just far away enough to enjoy the beauty and stillness of the region. Everyone on staff was very friendly! If we ever make it back this way we would not hesitate to stay here again!
