Whidbey Waterfront Retreat- Steps to Beach-Firepit- Reading Nook

It's cozy season on Whidbey Island!

Welcome to Casa Laguna (Lagoon House)! Relax and enjoy this calm and stylish contemporary waterfront cottage on beautiful Whidbey Island. Casa Laguna is perfect for couples, small families or groups of friends, or individuals who want to enjoy being close to nature within a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Listen to the wind in the trees and the waves on the beach. Make yourself at home in the open concept living-dining-kitchen, on the deck, around the fire pit, or in the private reading nook.
The space
Light the gas fireplace and cozy up on a cool evening to play games or watch a favorite movie on the Smart TV with Roku. Put some classic vinyl on the record player. Make a delicious meal in the well-appointed kitchen, or grab a cup of coffee or tea from the coffee bar and take it out to the deck to watch the ducks or the spectacular sunsets. Need a moment to yourself? Do some yoga, meditate, or read a book in the reading nook room just outside the back door.

Take a stroll on the beach (please adhere to all official beach signs) or ride your bike through the mostly flat Lagoon Point neighborhood. Explore all that Whidbey Island has to offer from charming towns to outdoor activities, from wine and spirit tasting to wonderful seafood, and art galleries to local theatre. Want to stay in? Make an al fresco meal on the grill, roast some marshmallows, and watch the stars (when it's clear).

At night, crawl into a comfortable bed with fresh cotton sheets, and dream of your next adventure!
Guest access
The entire house is yours to enjoy during your stay, with the exception of the outdoor shed and an outdoor locked closet.

Fantastic all around
This is the vacation home you wish you had. Great location, extremely well appointed, cute, comfortable, quiet, I could go on. We had a lovely stay- from when you walk in the door you're on vacation. Beach-theme decor is coordinated throughout the house. Comfortable furniture and mattresses, plenty of linens, and a cozy gas fireplace for movie nights. The kitchen has everything you need, including 4 different coffee options (pour-over, french press, keurig, and traditional coffee pot) plenty of pots and pans, and so much more. Need a little solo time? There's a separate yoga/meditation room (or work-from-home). And in the summer enjoy a bonfire by the lagoon. We will be back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Quaint stay
This house was so cute and had so many amazing things, such as coffee and creamer, and brochures of local attractions. The binder was a great touch, too. The location was so close to where we explored, too.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! I was clean, has a great layout, is close to the beach, well equipped, and is very peaceful. I would recommend it to someone looking for a quiet place to stay with easy access to all that Whidbey has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Good location between Langley & Coupeville
Plenty of supplies, kids toys & books, shaded fenced side yard, lots of deer & bunnies, beach decor lovely, quiet, small beach nearby. No swimming in lagoon, grocery store not close. Don’t forget large step off deck if stargazing in the dark! Enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Lovely Lagoon Point
This is a thoughtfully appointed and comfortable property a 2 minute walk from the beach. Very clean, comfy furniture, and fun decor. The view of the lagoon and the song of birds in the morning is charming. We didn't get to use the community fire pit this time, but hope to stay again sometime and use it then.

Wonderful stay on Whidbey!
We wanted a couple of days at the beach and were able to find this gem. What an adorable little cottage with many nice touches such as a great record collection, games, and a towel warmer. The beach is a very short walk away and it is in a convenient location on Whidbey Island, with good proximity to the ferry as well as cute towns and mountain biking. I would recommend for small families and/or a few friends wanting to get away. Very relaxing with all the comforts of home.
