We recommend a stay here.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and comfortable. The balcony and views were excellent. The breakfast was also excellent. We would definitely stay here again. It would be nice to have a refrigerator in the room though.

Spacious hotel which needs a bigger heart
The hotel is in a nice location. Please be aware that everything around closes early so shop in advance or hotel will be your only option for dinner. Plus- Hotel was neat and clean. Room were spacious and a good view of the valley. Minus- 1. We waited more than 30 minutes at the check-in desk. There was only 1 person at the desk and everyone had to wait. Later on another person joined in the at the check in desk and it was faster. The staff was courteous. 2. We were not aware that everything around closes early. Nevertheless, we had buffet dinner at hotel and it was ok. We had a kid(about 2 years) and she was not ready to eat at that time. I requested them if I could take some soup with us in case she gets hungry at night. They refused stating the hotel policy that no food from buffet can be taken outside. Instead they offered us to buy a lunch pack(with sandwiches which she doesn't eat). I have been traveling a lot and understand hotel policies but I found it a bit insensitive in this case. A kid is not an adult, the hotel can make an exception in this case. They should also consider that there is nothing else available in the area around. 3. There are no glasses, cups or kettles in the room which is a negative for me. I don't want to go down to the restaurant for everything.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff but rather grumpy bar and cafe staff. Clean rooms but with the pine furniture of a youth hostel. Thin walls allowed neighbours conversation to intrude on sleep. Fantastic buffet breakfast with wide range of delicious foods and good coffee. Basic pub food in the evening. Great location and views of mountains from some rooms

Great place to stay. The room had an amazing view to the mountain. Breakfast and Dinner are served as a buffet and lots to choose from. Food was tasty. The room qas spacious and they accommodated our baby with a baby cot. Friendly staff. Very clean and organised

The check in was the worst worst worst thing ever in my whole life. We were a group of colleagues, booked 10rooms. Took us 1.5hours to finish the check in. The reception insist they are fully booked and wouldn’t pass the room key to us after 9rooms. It took us more than 30minutes to get the last 1 room which already booked and paid on hotels.com. Absolutely the worst reception ever. The reception guy even shouted at us because he couldn’t complete his work with his own fault. Shame on you. Check in time was from 6:30-8:00pm on 8th September. To the management of this hotel, please please re-educate, train your staffs otherwise you’ll lose tons of customers. Please make sure they will not repeat this again so the other guests wouldn’t suffer like what we did. 最悪な経験をしました受付に1.5時間もかかり、支払いまで済んだ部屋の鍵を渡してくれません。受付のスタッフは態度が最悪で話すのではなく、叫んできます。絶対にオススメしません。

You have booked ten rooms with us, even if all rooms have already been paid for, we have to record the data of every traveler - in Austria this is due to the registration law - we are obliged to do this. You have also already paid for the room in advance, but not the local tax, which has to be paid on site. We therefore ask for your understanding that we cannot simply hand over the room cards without taking the necessary steps. Also we are currently working on a new concept with a new hotel software to speed up the check-in process for our guests. We are sorry that we did not manage to meet your expectations. The view from this hotel is amazing! The room was clean and hotel was quiet. The hotel does not have air conditioning. It was a cooler day and we didn't need it but if it was hot, it would have been difficult to sleep in a hot room. There is also no table in the room. The hotel provides meals which are 20 euros per person per meal which was a bit pricey when you travel with family. Also, we had medication that needed refrigiration and there is no refrigerator in the room, we had to keep it our cooler on ice.

This is an exceptional property with a view of the mountains, if you opt for that. I don't know whether the property is relatively new or has been upgraded, but all parts of the hotel, particularly the rooms are really nice. Lots of wood.

Great place, comfortable and spacious rooms. Lobby with bar and reastaurant aroud. Nice people. Breakfast and dinner served as buffet. There ware so many choices of food, for the price we paid food was amazing. Ski lifts near by and there is a bus taking skiers to . Great place for vacation

Your reservation was from December 23, 2022. You didn't arrive that day, so we charged your credit card with the no show fee the next morning. On December 24, 2022 you arrived. We had to correct the reported no show at your travel agency. We ask for your understanding, this is a completely normal procedure in all hotels in the world. The property is beautiful, the rooms very clean, modern, and spacious and the staff is truly top notch. The woman who works at the front desk (manager…maybe owner?) is exceptionally kind, accommodating, and informative. We will absolutely stay again.

The hotel is amazing, breakfast is really nice, and the rooms are beautiful. We had two issues: the mattresses are hard as a rock and therefore not comfortable to sleep on, and our dinner situation was handled poorly. We arrived at 8:30 and saw there was dinner going on. We asked at the front desk about it, and instead of telling us what time it ends, they told us to go talk to waitstaff. By the time we dropped our bags in the rooms and came back downstairs, it was 8:44 and the guy working there told us we were too late and dinner ended at 8:30. There was literally food on trays in the buffet area, still there, and he refused to let us have dinner. We would have been happy to eat in our rooms, wash the plates, and return them at breakfast the next day, so that was unfortunate. We traveled from Graz and were hungry, and this treatment left a sour impression on the otherwise wonderful stay.

Nice hotel complete with large bar/restaurant, sauna, fitness area, and a kid's play area. Located close to grocery store and tourist information center. Staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were definitely small...we felt a little confined (my wife, baby, and I). We had a decent-sized balcony overlooking the stunning landscape. The bathroom was really nice...brand-new with a spacious shower. Soundproofing wasn't good as we could hear our neighbors above us and on either side. Also heard lots of noise from hallway. Overall, it was good, but we would probably look for another place to stay when we return to Gosau.

Everything is very new and there is no smoking on the property. The rooms have great sound proofing; there was a party on the patio and I didn’t hear anything after shutting the window. The front desk is unfortunately not well staffed. The staff was new and not experienced which slowed down the check in. I felt bad for them, they definitely needed help and no one came to help for a long time (30 minutes in a short line). The food was good but the flies were out of control in the dining room.

The views are breathtaking
There isn't any negatives about this hotel. Amazing location. The only problem might be that you wouldn't want to leave. Really good staff and friendly faces all around.
