Nestled in a quiet sub-division above Golden, Journeys End offers spacious accommodations (1600 sq ft) for up to 6 adults, minutes away from world class golf, skiing, hiking, rafting, biking and snow-machining. The recently renovated 2-bedroom suite has views of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, the Purcell & Selkirk mountain ranges. Complimentary off-street parking for 2 vehicles including space for trucks with sled decks and/or a sled trailers, as well as ski/snowboard and bike storage.
In addition to the spacious living area with fireplace, there are 2 new renovated rustic bedrooms, a spa like bathroom and stunning mountain views. The suite has a kitchen with stove, small appliances and enough equipment for you to cook your group a gourmet meal. We provide complimentary TV/satellite/Netflix/DVD player and large movie collection, games, and rustic decor complete your mountain retreat experience.
You are welcome enjoy the outdoors in the large yard with guest patio, BBQ, hot tub and fire pit. Journey's End is suitable for couples, families, groups and business travellers.
The suite is 100% available to guests. We do use the laundry but will communicate with our guests if we need access for this purpose, and minimize impact to our guests and their stay.
We do share the hot tub with guests, but access this from our space.
Journey's End is our year-round residence (you may hear us moving around upstairs from time to time), but we recognize that you are on vacation; so we are as available to you as you would like us to be.

From expansive mountain views, nestled in the middle of 6 of Canada's most amazing National Parks, Golden is an outdoor Mecca with access to world-class skiing (downhill, cross-country, back-country, heli-ski; you choose) and mountain biking, the Mighty Columbia and Kicking Horse Rivers are on your doorstep offering whitewater rafting, kayaking and wildlife viewing - had enough of the outdoor adventures - our small down offers multiple options for a post activity meal or beverage at one of the many locally owned and operated restaurants and bars. We are happy to make recommendations and assist you in making reservations.
There is no public transport in Golden. Our property is close to local biking trails including a pedestrian and bike path to town (please note that while the path is downhill adjacent to the Trans Canada Highway, it requires some energy for the return trip).
There is a taxi firm in town if required.
We have two dogs on our property you may hear them from time to time.
