This is the worst place I stayed during my trip to Canadian Rockies, On my way to Jasper from Lake Louise we decided to stay in golden for 2 days… this place is located in a trailer park. No AC, NO Elevators, I had to drag my 3 suitcases two floors I was traveling with family…it was extremely hot 95 degrees both days, hotel management was not willing to help, we asked them to switch our room b/c in some rooms AC was working, they asked us to find another place to stay when we complained… it was a bz season (July) and our reservations were made 3 months in advance.. they didn’t offer any discounts… rude staff, very congested rooms and very tiny bathroom.. My bathroom in chateau lake Louise was bigger than their entire room and BR…. I ended up paying around $400 for this peace of junk, do yourself a favor there is a Holiday Inn express in this town which looked much better than this place, they have AC, Elavators, and free breakfast….

Great ski cabin for day at Kicking Horse
I stayed for 1 night with my family when we stopped for 2 days of skiing at Kicking Horse on a drive across Candada. This place is conveniently located between town and the resort, though you will have to drive to get anywhere. The place was very self service, but I found everything we needed and expected. It had a nice great room for hanging out reading a book and some apres.

A room to sleep 3 adults, Small but was able to enjoy the wood burning fireplace on main floor while playing some cards.
