Has to be one of the best places we've ever stayed. Margaret is incredibly welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Just wish we could have stayed longer and have decided that we would like to return some time if we get the chance.

great breakfast! Super close to the beach and short drive to the center of town. We liked that it was a little out side of the down town area. There is a cute pub down the street. loved it!!

Amazing hosts! We had to leave early and Margaret provided a wonderful breakfast before we left! Wish we would have been able to stay longer than the one night.

Great location for a trip to Galway, walking distance to city and to Salthill. Very warm welcome, lovely home, great firm comfortable bed, quiet location. Choice of smoked salmon and scrambled egg or full Irish for breakfast. I chose the former, it was delicious! I shall return to Glenariff for my next trip to Galway🙂

Handy to everything
This was smallest BandB for room size we have stayed in but very comfortable. Margaret is an exceptional hostess and the location was an easy walk to Galway city and the great restaurants of Salthill. Parking outside door handy too.

Margret is absolutely wonderful! The room was very clean and the house is spotless! the B&B is a very short walk from restaurants, the promenade and pubs. Also downtown Galway is a reasonable walk or bus ride. Breakfast was fantastic and made to order. We plan to return soon just to stay here.

Margaret was so warm and welcoming. We had a rough start to our trip, our honeymoon, our flights were delayed, we didn’t have our luggage for 48 hrs. So arriving in Galway to a warm welcome was the best. Definitely gave us a lot of helpful information and will see her next trip to Ireland

We had an ensuite double room - and it was TINY with dated decor. Very little comfort there. Bed was soft and unsupportive which may suit some backs but not ours. There is extremely little space in the room which proved tricky for us who'd travelled from Australia with a large suitcase each. But if the double room is small, wait to you see the shower room. If staying at Glenariff, it's simply our hope that you aren't overweight or suffer from claustrophobia. Among the good points are the location - only a close drive to town, the hostess - marvellously helpful and customer focused, plus the breakfast. Good choices there. Full Irish or maybe just a continental. You could have 'more of that and less of that' too, for example. Really nice and tasty. Fresh fruit also available. If you don't have any back issues, we could recommend the double room for one person, one night.

Lovely place in Salthill.
Very warm welcome on arrival. Our room was a bit small but was ok for our needs. Nice breakfast and good power shower. The house is in immaculate condition and is a credit to the owners.

Our room and especially the shower room were not large but the welcoming atmosphere, helpfulness and overall hospitality supplied to us by Margaret (and Seamus) were MASSIVE. Would not hesitate to stay there again when in Galway.

Great place to stay!
Margaret was an amazing host at Glenariff B&B. Here breakfast was scrumptious and she even offered to drive us into town because it was raining. The B&B is well situated and on a nice day, you could even walk into Galway. Highly recommend this B&B.

This is a beautiful B&B. Everything you could possibly desire exists here. It’s near the beach, shopping, and a great assortment of restaurants. A very easy ride into Galway too. Plenty to see and do. The ownership is magnificent...kind, helpful, generous, and always happy to see you. Say hi to Margaret for us!! We miss her.

Quiet, relaxed Bed & Breakfast in Salthill.
The Glenariff room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu was extensive and the food well cooked and delicious. The host, Margaret was friendly, very welcoming and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Hard to tell!!! The accommodation was double booked so we couldn’t stay. Luckily another B&B just across the Riad had vacancies.
