Great Place
Condo was just as advertised! There were even beach supplies for our son to use. Walmart is right next store which is very convenient. The grounds & pools were kept immaculate by the staff, who were all very gracious and friendly. Kathy was kind and responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend!

Lovely View of Beach in Darling Condo!
Perfectly appointed condo, while quite small. The freezer door pops open each and every time the refrigerator door is opened and only one elevator on the north side of the building works. Otherwise, a wonderful stay and would return!

The ice trays make the freezer pop open...I've had my cleaning crew check it anyway. A precious guests put the ice trays in there....if they are a problem I will have them removed. Yes, 2 elevators in the bldg. Once was damaged by water and parts have been orderd and the elevator company gave us a 2 week turn around time to have it up and running. I put that in the text I send out the day of arrival and the Front Desk is supposed to give that information. I apprecate your business and Iook forward to working with you on future stays. Nice location
We had a good location. The palm tree was in the way of the view. We could walk to the beach, wal-mart, food places. The manager, Kathy, was very helpful and congenial. The condo was stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, and a wagon to put them in to take the stuff to the beach. There are also beach games as well. Thanks for a good time.

Pre cruise stay
We stayed at this property for 2 nights before heading off to our cruise. The condo itself was beautiful and clean. It was small but perfect for just a few days! The kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The heated pool was great! Kathy was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed! The building itself is a little run down and only one elevator worked, but it wouldn’t deter us from staying there again! Definitely recommend!

Quick Stay Before Cruising
We loved this property. Great access to restaurants and stores. The pool was clean and well tended. They feature an adults only pool which was a nice option. I love kids, but the quiet was great. We had a few questions at check in. Kathy was quick to answer the phone and help us out. We were beyond satisfied.

Spring Break Trip
Took a quick trip with my wife and 2 kids. The condo is close to everything and could walk to the beach and several food options in minutes. Everything you could need is provided by the host in this cozy condo, perfect for my small family. It was a great time and would book again!!

The location was ideal with the beach visible from the balcony & right across the street from the property, Walmart across the street from the back of the property, shopping centers around the corner & restaurants within a block or two. The trolley stop was also within walking distance. It was very quiet & the pool which has lagoon features is in front of this condo. There is covered garage parking & the entire property & parking is secured access.

Great - but had to adjust a little
This condo was clean and wonderfully welcome and decorated perfectly. We were off season and found the pool and hot tub mostly to ourselves. We walked the beach, swam in the pool, enjoyed the hot tub and found lots of wonderful restaurants - Saltgrass Steak House, Sunflower Cafe and an Italian pizza shop. My husband played golf every day at Moody's - he loved it. We happened to be there during Mardi Gras weekend - what fun we had!!! The parade was fabulous!! I was a little surprised by the size. It was the smallest condo we have rented. I should have read the full description - there wasn't an oven and not a washer/dryer in the condo. I was disappointed by that - lesson learned. It was my fault from not reading the full writeup. But overall, we had a fabulous week!! We even watched the Super Bowl from the livingroom - Blast!!

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Yes, the condo is 487 sq feet however it's in the description. I didn't choose to put in washer/dryer when I remodeled because water leaks and damage to not only my unit but units below. . There are washer/dryers on premise for guests use. I'm glad you guys enjoyed yourselves...it was a great weekend for Mardi Gras.

The $35 is a Facility Access fee, which includesaccess to 2 heated pools, hot tubs, fitness ceenter and covered parking for 2 vehicles that is paid directly to the Victorian Association, paid at check in. Girlfriend getaway/ business conference
This was a quiet, convenient place to stay for 2 day conference, and my friend that tagged along, had some nice downtime while i was gone. Nice central location in the island and you can see the ocean from the balcony on a clear day, overlooking one of the pools. Hot tub was great, since it was unusually cool the days we were there. My only complaint was one elevator indicated it was out of order, the other door would only open occasionally, so not trustworthy. Overall we had a great time.

Bridget, thanks for taking time to write a review. I appologize for the elevator being down. There was a massive water leak and it went into the elevator shaft and caused major problems. The Prop Mgt company is getting bids to repair. There are 2 elevators in that building...sorry the working one was slow. It was my pleasure hosting you guys! Stay warm!

parking is bad , the owner knew i have a heart condition, I can`t walk much and the elevator on the end nearest the unit was broken and out of order, which meant having to use the other one way on the other end of the building requiring a very long walk, The owner never mentioned what floor her unit was on, we had to guess.I will never come back there!!!

I looked back on your booking and their is no conversation concerning your health. In fact therre is no converstation other than my instructions on checking in and out. My text message addressed the elevators letting you know there is one at each of the building. I also re-read your text messages and there was nothing in it about your issues. As far as the elevator being out...I wasn't aware....the MGT puts signs on them and there are 2 in the building. I'm sorry you are upset....if I had know perhaps I could have helped. I hope your next stay in Galveston is better w/another location. Kathy

The condo was nice but the building was just ok. The hot tubs were not working and the codes for the gates were not updated. However the staff were friendly and helpful

Charming
The apartment was very clean and welcoming. The owner provided everything needed for our stay. Our contact person, Kathy was so kind, patient and accommodating to our needs as was the front desk attendant. We felt very safe with the gated community. Parking was great with choice of parking in covered area or out in open parking lot. Very nice place to stay!

Bed too small for us
Nice place clean and ready. For us we need a king size bed. I slept 4 hours in the bed and the rest on the couch. I let the wife have the bed. Nice view, great room, close to everything. Nice walks along the beach.

Weekend getaway
We are so happy we chose this location, it was right on the seawall and close to so many fun things to do. A short drive down the seawall road to more soft sand beaches. The property owner was very available and checked in on us. I hope to return to this spot again!

Overall was a great stay! Kathy’s unit was clean and well kept up with! The building as a whole was a little questionable but had no problems! Check in was easy and unit has everything you need! Would book again!

We have a Capitol Improvement plan in place.. we just finished remodeling both pools prior to the peak season. Currently is finishing the roof project and then on to elevators, siding, stucco replacement/painting for now through 2024. Enjoying hosting you guys…look forward to your return.

Great location!
Condo was clean and efficient. Great location. Outside unit is weather worn and the elevators were broke so climbing up and down the stairs with your beach stuff and luggage was a challenge. This is no fault of the owner but the property facilities. Inside unit 5 stars!

Great location
Condo has a great location, close to a cross walk to walk to the beach. There was a cart and sand toys available to use in the unit which was nice not to have to pack ours! Kathy's communication was fantastic. Great trip.

Family Vacay in Galveston
We enjoyed our stay so much! The condo was just what we needed with a great location! We enjoy being able to have direct access to the beach but also being able to spend time at the pool when we’ve had enough of the sand and salt. One thing that was really useful that was in the condo was the wagon to take things to the beach as well as beach chairs and umbrellas. There were also plenty of beach toys for the kiddos to use. We will definitely come back!

Best place to stay in Galveston!
We had an excellent stay here. Kathy was excellent to communicate with and made her place feel like it was ours while we were there. The view from the balcony was excellent and we spent a lot of time out there. We definitely would stay there again when back in Galveston.
