Pine Creek Treehouse

The cabin nestled in the tree tops with a screened deck over pine creek offers amazing views. While quaint in size it offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed with an attached bathroom. The other bedroom has a double size bed, both have a television. There are 2 comfy couches in the living room with another bathroom. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, farm sink, full range and coffee maker.

Would you like to have your dinner on a screened in deck overlooking Pine Creek, this home provides that amenity. Fish Pine Creek from the property, snowmobile or four wheel out the front door, bicycle to the Grand Canyon through State Forest Lands on Township and State Forestry roads. The kids can swim, tube, kayak or canoe right out the backdoor on Pine Creek! Tioga State Forest Lands are within 1/4 mile and Pa. State Game Lands 208 is less than 1/2 mile, if that, away from this property for wonderful hunting. For eating there are 2 restaurants right across the road, If you would like to have a meal at home their is a full refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, also a grill to enjoy a good cookout! The comments from people who have spent time here is This is beautiful, or I love this property.

Great little spot to gather!
We stayed here with dear friends that we don’t get to see often enough. It was a short trip but just perfect! Late nights and early mornings out on the screened porch were my favorites!

My first trip to Wellsboro
This was my first visit to Wellsboro. My friend and I love to bike and heard about the bike and hiking trails there. My friend has been there many times. I have to say my first impression was a little hesistant. I read the signs and thought "where am I?". I became a little anxious. However I was pleasantly surprised. This cabin is awesome. Its well stocked with all the supplies you could possibly need. Someone gave it alot of thought about making their guests comfortable. They thought of everything. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom were very clean and well maintained. Tons of towels! The kitchen had two coffee pots! The stove was clean. The best part was the screen in porch overlooking the Pine Creek. I just loved it! While drinking tea we watched three deer walk across the creek in front of us. It rained for two days and we weren't able to bike much, so my friend and I rebooked it for October and my husband and I booked it for the end of October into November.. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who prefers a quiet, well stocked, and a clean place to stay.

Comfy, clean & cozy!
Wonderful place! Perfect for a couple and a kid! Clean, very comfortable, kitchen has all the essentials, two bathrooms were a plus! The screened porch is wonderful (and larger than it appears on the photos). Right along beautiful Pine Creek and close to all of the attractions in the area. Just perfect! One quibble: the check in and out instructions on VRBO differ from the ones in the book at the place and were a bit confusing. Didn't detract a bit from our stay, though. Highly recommend!

We Keep Coming Back
This cabin is wonderful that we came back again. We spend so much of our time on the screened in porch, listening to the river run and this trip watching and listening to the rain and the thunder rolling down the valley. It has everything you need and it is literally like staying in a treehouse! We will be back again!

Tidy small cabin with great view
Overlooking a beautiful creek, we enjoyed sitting on the open deck (There was also a large furnished screened in porch which we didn't use.). Noise from the trucks on the nearby road was annoying but didn't interrupt sleep at night. Cabin was fine althought outdated decor and furnishings. Plan to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash as none was provided and we had to use remnants from previous tenants.

Anniversary stay
Two bedrooms and two full baths. Nice kitchen and wonderful screened in porch overlooking Pine Creek. A bit too chilly during my stay to sit out there. Only two negatives were the narrow driveway. I had a ford escape and barely fit. I thought the living room tv was hard to use. Cooking with gas rather than electric was a bonus . The thermostat worked great because it was chilly while I was there and I had to make the house a bit warmer. Thank you for everything!

Cute, Cozy & Clean
My husband and I were looking for a quiet cabin weekend getaway and we were not at all disappointed. This cabin is situated in a very scenic area with plenty of dining options nearby. The screened in porch facing the water was lovely. And the reviews are correct, the cabin was exceptionally clean and decorated very nicely!

Loved our stay!
A friend and I stayed 3 nights for a relaxing girls' weekend. The cabin was just what we wanted. We loved the porch overlooking the river, and even though it was rainy and cold a couple days, the screened-in porch allowed us to still be outdoors enjoying the beautiful scenery. We had a delicious dinner at the Log Cabin Inn across the street, and the fully-stocked kitchen was nice for cooking-in. We loved the area and want to return! We hiked at the PA Grand Canyon, strolled around Wellsboro and ate breakfast at the diner, and had a surprisingly fun time at the PA Lumber Museum during their fall festival. If the weather is nicer when we return, we want to bring or rent bikes, maybe bring our ATVs, take the covered wagon ride, and see the stars at Cherry Springs State Park. That was on our agenda, but the rain and cloud cover nixed those plans. We had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again!

20th Wedding Anniversary Getaway
This is a quaint and charming cabin, felt more like a home. Loved the layout of the house. The screened porch was delightful and really helped with our rainy weekend! The small deck off the bedroom is an absolute delight, as are the views!! TV and WIFI were seamless and we actually had 2 bars of Verizon service too. The Log Cabin Inn and Antlers Inn had amazing food! We grilled one night and had a fire one afternoon. Riding our wheelers directly from the properly was our goal and made it super fun! We’d love to come back earlier in the season for better weather. For those with a physical concern, the steps to the creek are long and a bit high, (slippery with moss with our weather conditions). We took a small cooler down to save trips for drinks and it was great! Perfect fishing location and super private. Little slice of Pine Creek all your own. ❤️

Beautiful Location
The location was perfect for all we planned to do, as well as being situated right on Pine Creek. It was so peaceful and beautiful to look out the large window, or sit on the back wrap-around deck, to see that view. The cabin was so clean and cute. It was small, but comfortable and had everything we needed for a mother-daughter long weekend. We’d love to come back again.

Not as expected
Cute porch, lovely view of the creek, super clean. Cottage was advertised as two bedroom. One bedroom had a Queen with a mattress so soft we had trouble rolling over. The other was an old fashioned double bed in the laundry room with no floor space. Mirrors too high for an average height woman to use. No amenities: no shower soap or shampoo or ice cubes. Two sets of internet connection instructions, neither of which worked. Heavy tankers loudly removing fracking water on rte 6 on the opposite side of the creek. We had a very nice weekend since the weather was perfect and we sat on the porch but thank goodness the other couple we invited to join us wasn’t available.
