This place is beautiful, clean, newly remodeled, and in a great location. The free gym, free laundry, and shared kitchen are really great. No hot water when I took my shower on day 2, which was pretty inconvenient. Also, I was never able to get ahold of any staff when I sent them multiple messages on Expedia; so I think they could improve on this front. They say to download WhatsApp to send them messages, but it would just be nice if they responded to the Expedia messages like other lodging. The tel # they provided did work to reach someone, though. The self-check-in process went well except it asked for a pin when using my credit card. I don’t have a credit car pin so I ended up using my debit card, which is undesirable due to not earning the airline miles (just a minor inconvenience). The room was unbearably hot (Sept 5-7), as there’s no AC. The only way to cool the room down to make it comfortable enough to sleep was to open both windows all the way at night, which precludes shutting the curtains and let’s in all the very loud noise from the bars surrounding all sides of the intersection/plaza at the base of the hotel. Monday was noisy, but Tuesday was really bad. Earplugs and a sleeping mask did the trick, but you won’t get any sleep without these. We were on the 3rd floor in a corner room, closest to the bar intersection. It would also be nice if they explicitly told you that you could put stuff in the shared fridge. Overall, we recommend it and would stay here again.
