Great accommodation
Cabin was very clean and very quite in a peaceful setting. Could not fault anything and loved it being separate with no neighbours and the little extras provided especially extensive range of foods.

Lovely cosy cabin. Everything we needed for cooking. Very peaceful with waterviews. I am a birdwatcher and there were plenty of birds about. Our hostess was friendly and informative.

We wanted to visit Bruny island and also visit nearby places of interest so Flowerpot was a good base. Cabin had everything to cook your own food and there was also a barbecue outside. We enjoyed our stay there

Best find
We loved this cabin. I often need to clean a place before I can relax and stay. This cabin was so clean, for many this isn't an issue. But I was immediately comfortable and could just use everything without my OCD taking over. Honestly, places like this are hard to find. The hosts were amazing, the cabin was beautiful. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

NOT Bruny Island
It’s a lovely place. Amazing sunrise views and loved walking the labyrinth BUT I had wanted to stay on Bruny Island in readiness for a boat trip next day. I entered Bruny Island as my desired location and reading this place had views of D’Entrcasteaux passage I assumed it was on the island. It was not. We did get our boat trip but I would have liked more time on the island

So glad you liked The Cabin. We do have amazing sunrises here. Unfortunately we have no control where our listing is placed on the booking platform,. ALL booking platforms will give you options that include the surrounding areas. However, The Cabin is definitly listed as being in Flowerpot in our property location as is shown on the location map.

Visiting Tassie on my 80th birthday in company with my son. Both are keen environmentalists. We absolutely fell in love with our cosy bush cottage. Loved the log fires. Loved the bush setting. Loved all the thoughtful touches Dianne placed there for us. She is an exceptional host.

My husband and I loved staying in the cabin at Flowerpot. Every homely detail was attended to with extra touches. Lovely spacious and clean bathroom and cosy living room, loved the wood fire! Beautiful bush and bay outlook and natural light. Great proximity to Bruny Island and Snug for supplies. Thank you.

Great short stay in southern Tassie
Lovely little cabin. Clean and cosy. Seemed to have every little thing thought of to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Great for singles, couple or close small family. Our two kids were happy to sleep on the fold out couch. Having breakfasts provided was an unexpected pleasure, they were delicious and varied. We opted for GF. Plenty of great activities and foodie places to visit nearby. Three nights was too short. No laundry though.

Wet and Wild Winter long Weekend (June) but super cosy in cabin thanks to abundant firewood and foodie treats provided daily by generous hosts. Would be great if cabin had a cook top and oven/cooker and some thermal-lined curtains would provide better insulation for heat loss but other than that, everything was really nice, we were warm and very much enjoyed the bush cabin experience. Idyllic retreat!
A beautiful cabin setting nestled in the bush with stunning sunrise! Easy to find even in the dark ( when we arrived). After a long drive with kids in tow it was wonderful to open the door to a homely and inviting space with so many special welcoming touches. The owners have thought of everything. The accommodation is comfortable, beautifully furnished, clean, tidy and everything you need is there. The kids loved the games and outdoors. We absolutely loved the breakfast provisions- we devoured the delicious homemade bowls of goodness and felt very well cared for on our stay. It was such a lovely place to stay. We wish we had been able to book in for longer. We would highly recommend to others.

Had a great 3 days walking, based at Flowerpot. The cabin was cosy and quiet and had all we needed. Enjoyed log fires each night and lovely breakfasts from the host. Great spot for relaxing.

Absolutely excellent!
Me and my boyfriend stayed over for my 21st! We had so much fun cooking together in the kitchen, lighting the fireplace, having a bath, cooking our food! The rainy weather, fireplace and blankets was a winning combo!! The area is beautiful, and we were able to buy some cheap rods and go fishing too! Also - the breakfast provided (on both nights we stayed) was lovely!! Has everything you need - electric stove + frypan, toaster, kettle, pasta, rice, coffee, tea. Was a wonderful stay and would definitely reccommend this to other couples looking for a fun little getaway. Not too far from Hobart either, but still rural and quiet :) Thank you so much for a wonderful time!!

Bliss in the country
A log fire to keep you warm, surrounded by nature, plenty of trees and birds. Provisions supplied were excellent. Bedroom slightly small, but hey, you only sleep there. Hosts were welcoming and friendly, but not intrusive. highly recommended.
