Location was good. Room was small. Room safe was not bolted down. A kettle in the room would have helped. Overall, you get what you pay for!

The hotel served it's purpose, mainly great location. Walking distance to train station, and many other sights and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A great location just 10 minutes walk from the main station, 2-3 minutes from many restaurants and the San Lorenzo market, and about 10 minutes to the Duomo too. Everything is easily walkable, yet the hotel was still quiet despite its central location. The reception staff and the breakfast staff were all friendly and helpful.

Luca greeted us and explained the area to us when we arrived. He made us feel welcomed into the establishment. Our room was great, bathroom spacious, everything very clean. Their breakfast has many choices and staff available. Location couldn’t be better. It is so close to the train station it made our travel in and out of Florence easy even with a few suitcases. Restaurants, galleries, the beautiful fountains, bridges, churches, and shopping all in walking distance. We were very pleased with booking this hotel, and would do so again in the future if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you for accommodating our stay.

The staff at The Hotel San Grigorio was beyond compare. Hospitality, kind, helpful and welcoming. I will definitely return and highly recommend a stay here!

Ask for a room at the back
Good location steps away from the Airport tram and the city center. Lots of shouting late at night from the street below, breakfast basic, hotel dated but overall fine to stay for a night or two

This was an excellent location just 5 minutes walk from the train station. The room was clean and very brightly pained, but we had no view from our room and did not open the curtains for the whole stay Our first morning we needed to leave early on a trip and they made a packed breakfast which was gluten free and very good Breakfast on the other days was good as well with gluten free options We did find it a very old fashioned place and might look for something a bit more up to date but as we only used the room to sleep it was not a ploblem

The location is very handy near the station. The hotel is old and needs an upgrade. The room was next to a very noisy area. The breakfast was excellent great buffet and first class coffee.

Location is great but the hotel’s look and rooms are straight from the 40’s. It definitely needs a lot of refreshing. There are weird smells and the carpet just look horrible. The "breakfast" is simply disgusting, even the coffee is bad (and we are in italy). We didnt ate there. I simply wouldn’t recommend this place.

They only care about your money . My flight got canceled & I called to exchange my stay to the next day . The hotel told me they couldn’t do that but they would love to book me for the next day since I didn’t have a place to spend the night . Really ?! The audacity!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Dusty room in a great location
Great location, the breakfast... not so much. The room was very dusty, and the carpet looked dirty. The station, and the bus station are within a 3 minute walk, and the city center is no more than a 5-8 minute walk away.

The hotel is close to central train station. It is also on the street with many Chinese and other good restaurants. Close enough to walk to Basilica of Saint Mary of flower. The breakfast is average but breakfast serving staff sometimes is not friendly but it is ok if you don't mind. However front desk is very nice and helpful. In general it is a acceptable hotel.

The Hotel is close to many attractions. It is clean and spacious. The staff was not too friendly, but it may be a cultural thing. The room was clean, the only problem was that the shower would take a really long time to drain so you need to take a quick shower or it will flood. Breakfast is just OK. Coffee however is the best.

Great locaiton
This was the last place we stayed on our vacation and were only there one night. It was great for the purpose. The front desk called us a cab at 4:45 AM. It was kind of a maze getting to our room on the 3rd floor. After getting off of the elevator, we had to navigate 3 sets of stairs and many corners.

Everything was fine except there was an electrical problem with the room lights going on and off throughout the two night stay. Plugin in devices into the wall outlets appeared to cause the electrical short problem.

Hotel near Train station and duomo, you can find many restaurant. But in the room no air condition and heater, wi-fi can't access in the room, you have to go to the lobby or rest area.
