Very beautiful resort. Just be aware that there is no front desk so you have to go to another lodge to pick up your key from a lock box. There is also no air conditioning and our room for very hot. However, the pool is nice and there is a great place to BBQ and enjoy the scenery. Would definitely go back.

Note that we have units with air conditioning in Timberline Lodges that you might want to book for your next trip. All our front desk are closed since COVID and we are making all efforts to communicate all information via email or over the phone. We have someone on site to help you 7 days a week, 24 hours a day if needed. We hope to see you in Fernie soon.

Our stay at this hotel was pretty good. There were a few things that could have been improved upon though. I will start with the good- clean condo unit, with pretty much everything you could need to stay with friends or family. Comfy beds and living/dinning area! Bad- instructions for checking in were not clear. It was contactless check in and you had to go to a different resort to get keys. There was no map sent and it was just overly confusing about where we had to go. Pool bookings were confusing and hard to come by- not all the hotels fault due to covid but still disappointing. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast. Where or when, I have no clue! The toilet off the master bathroom didn’t always work. The keys we were given didn’t all work so we had to go get new ones. They also didn’t all work.

Love the location of Snow Creek, and the room was well equipped and clean. The areas that need improvement was definitely the bed!! Not comfortable, felt like sleeping on a bouncy castle! Time for a new mattress. It would also be nice to have a lighter duvet for the summer, especially since the room has no air conditioning...very warm at night. The other area that could use improvement is the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub. The bottoms had a collection of sand and debris, don't think it was cleaned in the 6 days we were there.

We are sad to see you didn't have a better experience. In regards to the bed linen, Guest Services are available to help, next time give us a call and we will find more appropriate bedding. As for the pool and hot tub, I will contact the Strata company that manages that area and make them aware of the cleanliness of their amenities. As the ski hill was closed, it was very quiet and almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. However, I wish we would have been told that the pool was going to be shut down as that was definitely one of the reasons we booked it . There was one hot tub available that was no longer being cleaned and we were offered the pool at the sister property that was also no longer being cleaned. The staff was great about it but feel management should have communicated better and adjusted our rate accordingly

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. However the unit we rented lacked basic cooking needs. There was no frying pans or cutting boards. I was also unable to latch the dishwasher closed. I felt bad for the cleaning staff because I was unable to run the dishwasher. For the amount of money that I paid I would have hope that cooking in the unit would have been easier.

Was a bit confusing about the check-in time . We requested an early check in and then was told it was not possible, and then day of we got a call that it was possible- but had not planned for it at that stage. . Would be nice to have pool access to noon on day of departure as pool opens at 10am which is also the check out time.

Snow Creek Lodge has nailed some basics: best ski-in / ski-out location in Fernie and great all-season heated outdoor pool and hot-tubs overlooking the piste. However, it lacks the quality of other accommodation that can be found on the hill in Fernie, the pool while nicely located had some crazy green thing happening within it, and misinformation was provided to me regarding the check-in procedure (which resulted in a delay in actually getting into our suite, which is never pretty when you're traveling with a couple kids). Also, the kitchen was oddly equipped (e.g., only three dinner plates in a unit that could sleep up to four people).

Well overpriced and dated
Rooms have no air conditioning, only one elevator worked. There is only one small TV in the room, none in the bedrooms. No room service the 3 days we were there. Also the beds were like sleeping on a concrete slab.

SO Clean!
We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness level of our suite at Snow Creek. The kitchen, dishes, sheets and bathroom were all spotless. The comforter was nicely wrapped in a clean duvet, sheets were fresh and clean for the pull out bed too. Although one always hopes for a clean suite when checking into a hotel, I am typically disappointed - however I would stay at Snow Creek again just to have such a nice clean hotel. The pool was amazing too by the way. The only part that was a tad disappointing was that there was no restaurant nor bar in our building, just a common room of sorts on the main floor. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in Fernie!

Great location!
Fast and easy check in. Nice clean room. Great location right beside the T-bar of the ski hill. 1 minute walk to the ski lift! Nice pool and hot tubs!
