We enjoy the cabin , the entire family had a good times , we came to duck creek every christmas family love the snow and this time I have to opportunity to take the kids to Bryan head for snowboarding, we highly recommend this cabin and duck creek in general is magical little village
When VRBO cancelled our Duck Creek reservation only 4 days prior to reservation dates booked MONTHS in advance, this property did not disappoint and multi levels worked wonderfully for our extended family vacation. Josh was very kind and responsive. Clean beautiful home.

Great stay!
This cabin was super clean with tons of blankets and kitchen supplies. The hostess even left some yummy treats for us upon arrival. Cabin is beautifully decorated and in a quiet cul de sac. Loved our visit here.
comfortable and beautiful home close to Bryce and Zion
we just loved this house. It was spacious with room for 6 to spread out. the views are wonderful. The neighborhood quiet and very peaceful. Fire pit was fun. Owner quick to reply to questions. NICE!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our trip that weekend. We look forward to rebooking at Lazy Pines in the future. Loreen had excellent communication and was extremely accommodating to meet our needs. We’ve stayed at Lazy Pine in the past and loved it. It’s got everything you need to make awesome family cabin memories.
Beautiful location in Strawberry Valley and close to riding trails
My family had a great time staying at Lazy Pines for five nights at the end of May. Loreen was great to work with and communicated often with us as we prepared for our stay at Lazy Pines. The cabin is in a very nice location in Strawberry Valley conveniently located to Zion National Park, Cascade Falls, The Duck Creek Ice Cave, and plenty of off-road riding in the Duck Creek area.
My kids loved the large loft and we all loved the very comfortable mattresses. The kitchen was well stocked.
There is not enough parking to leave a trailer at the property but we simply left our trailer at the corner of 14 and Strawberry Rd. which is only about a half mile away where there is a large staging and parking area.
Overall we had a great time staying at Lazy Pines and would definitely recommend staying at this cabin in Strawberry Valley.
We loved the feel of this home, cozy and surrounded by beautiful trees. I could have just lived on the porch! Only downfalls were no dishwasher, couple fixes needed (screen doors, low power on stove, low wi-fi). The master room was a little cramped but the bathrooms were awesome! The loft was a fun hangout for the teens. we Loved the sun shining in to the main gathering area and eating our meals on the picnic table on the porch. The fire pit was a great spot to watch the stars and enjoy s’mores. The house was equipped with everything we needed and we had great communication with the owner. After long hiking days at Zion and Bryce (both about an hour away) it was a perfect spot for rest and recovery.
We took our 3 adult children, their spouses and 4 grandkids (8 and under) to the cabin for the July 4th weekend. The cabin was very clean and roomy with plenty of outdoor space for us to hang out. The porch and fire pit were our favorite areas. Location was very nice with lots of trees on the property. We definitely enjoyed our time there! The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the parking situation and the fold out mattress. We had 4 cars and a Razor. The driveway is very narrow and long which meant the cars had to be parked in a long row. We had to move cars a lot whenever anyone wanted to leave and the neighbors weren’t too friendly about us parking a car on the street temporarily while we rearranged parking. I wish we had been told beforehand how limited parking is. Additionally, we needed all 6 beds for our large group and while all the actual beds were very comfy, the fold out couch mattress was awful. We had to put a layer of pillows on top of it in order to use it.
We recently returned from a three night vacation with two families at this beautiful cabin and we all loved it. Here are a few thoughts while it's still fresh in my mind:
1) The cabin is built on a slope. The rear of the cabin has a large deck that sits about 20 feet above the hill below. Sitting on the deck, you almost feel like you're in a tree house, with the tops of the pines and aspens right next to you; magnificent.
2) REALLY comfortable beds throughout the cabin. Better than my bed at home.
3) The cabin feels very new and was stocked with anything you could possibly need.
4) Cabin owners were very responsive and helpful during our stay.
5) Sitting on the deck and watching the stars at night was a real treat. There's even a telescope provided by the owners.
Overall we were very happy with our choice in cabins. A big thanks to the cabin owners for making our visit to Duck Creek Village a memorable one!
Loreen was super easy to work with and very attentive to all our questions. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and just right for our large gathering of family. Plenty of seating at meals with the huge outdoor picnic table just off the dining room. You could choose indoor or outdoor dining. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Very secluded at the back of a culdesac, surrounded by trees so you felt one with nature, yet just a 5 minute drive to Highway 14. Only suggestion I would have is put handicap handles on the bath tubs for ease in getting in and out. It was very difficult for my elderly parents to step over the side of the tub with nothing to hold on to. Other than that, the place is a 5-star!! (We don't mind hand-washing dishes--we did use paper plates a LOT as there's no dishwasher. But no big deal for us.) We'd love to come back again one day.
Such a cute cabin that was pretty well stocked. It was perfect for our family. Parking was a little bit of a struggle getting our 3 trucks and trailer in the drive way, but we squeezed them in and would definitely stay there again!
This home was just perfect for myself and my extended family! It had all the amenities of home and more. It was located close to the village and near the outdoor activities and sightseeing we had planned on. From start to finish it went smoothly! The host was very kind and responsive to my questions. I highly recommend this home! I hope I have another opportunity to visit!
