I love the fact that this property is clean, well maintained and gives one a sense of being at home in a quiet and peaceful environment. However, I am not deeply impressed with the unyielding attitude of the staff at the reception at the time of my arrival, who had difficulty understanding that, unless stated clearly otherwise on the hotel website or other hotel's subsidiaries, when a customer pays for a super deluxe room in a hotel apartment, on arrival the customer excepts to be assigned a room; not a studio. Having travel a very long distance to get to this hotel late in the evening, I cringingly stayed in this facility only two nights to enable me find a better hotel apartment I was happy and comfortable with. I found a better hotel apartment on Al Rigga Road in Deira, which is better and has better customer service. I was really looking forward to spending three weeks of my vacation in one of the hotel apartments in this facility, but the unwillingness of the staff at Movenpick Hotel Apartments in Al Mamzar, Dubai to work with me made this hotel to loose me as a customer and guest. Had the hotel staff worked with me in assigning me a "room apartment", not a studio, as I had requested, I would not mind spending my entire vacatuion in this factility. My advise to anyone who wishes to stay in this facility is to ask many questions and clarification between super deluxe room and studio; premier deluxe and regular room; and a hotel apartment.
