The overall appearance of the property was favorable, but one soon observed that many small details needed attention: a large, loosened panel on the main stairway was not only a tripping hazard but was unsightly as were many pieces of rebar emanating from the concrete that clearly previously supported something but were left in place in a most unsightly manner. A few simple tools and hardware pieces would be an easy fix for both. The exterior wall of the facility possessed many pock marks that also could be easily fixed. The pool was accommodating but lacked half of the decorative tiles from the top of the pool leaving unsightly spaces of adhesive. A nearby container housed a large collection of these tiles that were apparently meant for patrons to add to upon additional tiles falling off. Draining a few inches from the pool and using simple tile adhesive to the unattached tiles would be an easy fix. Upon entering the property, there was no sign indicating where to check in. It took a few minutes to find the small office where the attendant wasn't unfriendly but not particularly welcoming either. The chef, on the other hand, was wonderful and clearly enjoyed talking with the guests. Food was fairly priced and was decent. Rooms were sparsely furnished but fine, and a small fridge was helpful.
