PNW Spring Break
The owners of Knotty Lodge provide an absolute top level of service and experience. The home was immaculately clean, check in seamless, and communication with the host was rapid and informative. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay (5yr old and 9 yr old children). The kitchen has every item one could possibly need to prepare a meal. The home is equipped with games, books and even a small toy box for young children. The neighborhood is quiet. Mt. Baker is about a 30 minute drive away. The Skagit Valley with the Tulip Festival is about an hour away. Glacier, WA itself is small with limited resources therefore we recommend shopping for groceries and sundries in Burlington (Costco, Target, Haggan’s, Fred Myer Grocery). Overall, you and absolutely cannot go wrong selecting the Knotty Lodge for your accommodation needs. Truly a remarkable home.

A magical stay!
My family and I stayed at the lodge over Christmas. It was beautifully decorated with all things Christmas - including a tree! The hosts also left little surprises which my little boy loved discovering. The property itself is well taken care of and very clean. It's well stocked and has everything you need for a home away from home. Top notch appliances etc. Thank you for making our Christmas away from home magical - we highly recommend to all guests.

Beautiful & Unique Cabin
Our family of 6 adults, one infant, and a dog, stayed here for 10 days for our annual family Christmas getaway. Everyone loved the cabin, the big fireplace, the hot tub, and proximity to Mt. Baker recreation. Csaba was indeed a super host with great communication, thoughtful follow up on how we were doing and even an extra load of firewood when we ran out. We found great local coffee shops nearby including the Wake & Bakery and Grahams in Glacier. Both were top notch for food and service. Crossroads in Maple Falls turned out to be a great little grocery store for picking up little things to cook dinners. The hike near the grocery store to see the falls was great too. Two of us were working throughout the week and the wifi / bandwidth was plenty fast for all of our remote meetings, movie streaming, phones, etc. If Mt Baker is your destination then definitely consider this property, you won't be disappointed. The construction of the interior of the cabin is very fun and uniquely done, there are little treasures to be found in cubby holes all over the cabin so my wife left a handmade Christmas ornament to be found by future guests.

We have now stayed at the Knotty Lodge several times and can’t imagine a better place to stay in the area. The location is perfect for exploring and the house is beautiful! It has everything you need to enjoy your stay including a well stocked kitchen, fireplace, hot tub, and fire pit. We will definitely be back again next year!!!

Fall colors at Mt. Baker
The Knotty Lodge is amazing! It had everything we needed for our family hiking trip. Super comfortable beds, hot tub and fire place made it so nice after our day hikes. And what an incredibly beautiful time to visit the mountains, the colors of the trees with a fresh dusting of snow, we captured some family photos. We even found some Chantelle mushrooms to take home. We will be back to stay at this spectacular cabin again soon!

We hosted a small elopement reception for the weekend with a private dinner in the backyard after the ceremony. The backyard was the perfect place to relax and celebrate. The house itself is well-equipped and nicely appointed. It’s about a 45 min drive up to Artist Point. Csaba was very helpful and accommodating. Hoping to check this place out during the winter season!

Great home to stay at!
Knotty Pine was amazing! Quiet, beautiful on the inside and outside. The neighborhood is quiet but cute. Morning walks was nice in the neighborhood looking at all the mountain homes and the river. Highly recommend staying here for anyone with a large family or a bunch of friends wanting to vacation together. We stayed here for our wedding at Mt.Baker. Great location to the mountain and plenty of room for all of us to get ready for the sunrise ceremony. The owners even left us flowers and a gift basket to welcome us in. The only recommendation I have is to include more wash rags and towels for the hot tub.

Stunning cabin in peaceful setting
This is one of the most incredible rental homes we have stayed at!! Its clean, comfortable, stunning interior! Outdoor firepit and hot tub surrounded by pines. Owners very easy to communicate with.

Clean, quiet and spacious
We rented this house for a long weekend over memorial day. We had been to the area many times before and were looking forward to going back. The house was absolutely wonderful. Very clean, very spacious and was equipped with most every thing you would ever need. Csaba and Rosemary were also wonderful hosts. Very quick on communication and answered any questions we had. All in all this was a great trip we will definitely be going back!

Wonderful property
Long Mother’s Day weekend. Beautiful woodwork and decor with the rustic feel we had hoped for. Has all the modern amenities and for the most part had a well stocked kitchen. Home is located in a neighborhood, but with plenty of trees it felt private. We were fortunate we had great weather so we took advantage of the slate patio relaxing and swapping lies. The hot tub, fire pit and toys stored the shed all got well exercised.

Great weekend getaway
Really enjoyed our stay! Csaba and Rosemary had the house really well appointed and even left some nice touches for us, such as a bottle of wine, a Knotty Lodge mug and koozies, and hidden eggs for our kids to hunt for during our Easter stay. House is beautiful, hot tub was just what we needed, and their communication was thorough. Loved our trip and are so thankful for such gracious hosts!

Incredible ski trip
This is our second time staying at this beautiful house, it is the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. With the cozy fireplace and hot tub to relax after the mountain. Also, Mt. Baker ski area provided fresh snow and blue skies for an epic time on the hill. We can’t wait to come back.

The property was amazing overall! We were disappointed upon arrival that the hot tub had to be cleaned that day, so we were unable to use it one of the two nights we stayed here. There were also some "gummies" left on the nightstand in the main bedroom upon arrival.

Amazing house
Visited with a few freinds over Christmas. Beautiful house with an amazing very well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms very comfy with great beds. Unfortunately the ski area was shut due to weather but fortunately the house was so nice we were happy stay in and play games and enjoy the hot tub.

Epic Getaway
First off, this home/property exceeded our expectations on all levels...the design proportions and building materials are special/unique. Beds and bedding? SO comfy. Hot tub and fire pit are perfect for hanging out and catching up. And if it's too rainy? Fire up the over-sized family room fireplace! Kitchen was the BEST!!! Plenty of room for several of us to cook our Thanksgiving dinner together. We're grateful to have found The Knotty Lodge.

Perfect Elopement Stay
We rented the lodge during our elopement at artist point - it was a beautiful lodge and exceeded our expectations. Pictures do not do the property or backyard justice on how beautiful and serene it is. The host were very lovely and left us a nice congratulations card with treats for our pup! This house became the center of our hiking excursions, and it really made the vacation perfect. Having decided not to schlep our backpacking gear across the country, we instead did day hikes and then returned nightly to this gorgeous home, soaked in the hot tub, cooked meals in the wonderful kitchen, and ate outside on the lovely patio. Everyone got a comfortable bed and a good hot shower, and we were within minutes of the best hikes ever--and able to hike a lot, having gotten great sleep! The owners were responsive and super friendly. If you are hiking, this is the closest/nicest option to Mt. Baker wilderness for a family. And the details--the reclaimed wood and design features of the house--make it truly special.

Fantastic cabin/home in Mt Baker area
We loved this place. Lots of wonderful out door space, in both back yard with fire pit and front patio. Family cooking together is one of our greatest joys and this kitchen was perfect for that. Everything from linked wifi/music speakers inside and out, to hot tub, to generous bedrooms for six people, this home is made for socializing. Hiking in Mt baker area is great too

Family Getaway over Memorial Weekend
Our family of 5 adults, 3 children (age 5 and under) and 2 dogs spent an extended weekend at this lovely cabin. We had an amazing time together and the property more than exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed the hot tub, making a fire in the evenings, having plenty of board games to choose from - the kitchen was roomy and there was plenty of storage for all the food we brought along. The owners of the property thought of all the details to make our stay comfortable - and there were plenty of towels! We would most certainly stay here again. One heads up == the wifi was limited so if you plan to work from here, it may be a challenge. One of our party had to work and once we disconnected our extra devices, they were able to get set up. We do highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin!
Our family had such a wonderful stay at the Knotty lodge. The house is fully loaded with everything you may need and sparkling clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and out door fire pit. The trail to the river has an awesome swimming hole were we enjoyed some cold drinks and watched out dog swim.

Perfect house for a perfect family get away. We had 5 adults, one 2 year old, and 2 medium sized dogs stay at this cabin and it was just the right size. They had a whole toy bin for the little one! Great backyard for enjoying a fire and hot tub soak, plus the pups loved the area too! We walked the neighborhood and found a really nice trail by the river (Canyon creek trail)! We will be staying here again for every Mt Baker ski trip (finger crossed it’s available) :)

This cabin is simply amazing! We had kids, teens, dogs and more family. The custom woodwork is stunning, the fireplace is more than cozy. Beds are comfy and extra blankets galore. Kitchen has everything you need. We had a power outage related to a snow storm and Csaba was very accommodating and had a fire waiting for us! Hot tub was a perfect end to a day of skiing. We would definitely recommend!

Magical Holiday Experience
This cabin was beautiful and solidly built by the owners and its large reclaimed wooden beams add to the "rustic cabin feel". It snowed while we stayed and our photos of the roaring outside fire pit and the hot tub are magical. The cabin is about 1 1/2 mls. from the little town's Chair 9 restaurant where we all met up after snowboarding. The internet is as expected in a wooded area. Our whole family is hoping to return soon!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home and property. The home was so clean, had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We loved eating at the tables set up in the backyard, as well as the front. The details that went into this home were well-appreciated. Gorgeous wood and rock work throughout. The home is nestled in trees and the neighborhood was very quiet. We loved all of the hikes we could do in the area. We will definitely be returning. The only suggestion is keyless entry.
