Convenient to so many wonderful places to see, different types of restaurants, and historic culture. Hotel was very nice, very clean and hospitable. I’d definitely recommend it to my bestest friends!

Disappointing
Rooms far too hot. States air con when you book but they won't turn it on, instead at 18 degrees outside the rooms are at 27! Windows don't all open. Staff are not really interested in customer service. Cocktail and coffee offer no honoured, instead a welcome drink of one per room, either wine or beer. Beautiful views and nice rooms. Can't turn the heated toilet seat off! No instructions anywhere in English or any other language other than Korean so not really Traveller friendly.

My wife stayed in this hotel for 4 + 5 nights, with a break in between where she went to Daegu. On her first period of stay, she found the room temperature was a bit cold. So on her return to the hotel for the second stay, she asked for the temperature of the room to be adjusted at her check in to 21 deg C. Two technicians turned up to do the adjustment, however none did their job and none could explain to her (in English) of what they did. The room temperature was at a high of 26 deg C and going up to 27 deg C while she was trying to get someone's attention. Eventually a male manager turned up, checked and told her the temperature sensor might be defective (meaning the room temperature wasn't that high) and asked her to wait for an hour for the temperature to come down. By that time my wife has been in the room for three hours and could clearly feel the heat! Eventually my wife had to ask me to talk to the manager on the phone (I wasn't with my wife as this is her solo trip) and complained before she got allocated another room. The issue here is not a defective air conditioner but the service attitude which seems to be-little a woman's request and opinion.

비오는 날 15층 피하시고 장기 숙박 비추합니다
어머니 병원치료때문에 병원 근처 제일 좋다는 곳으로 예약해 5박 6일 숙박했습니다. 천장에 비 샌 자국이 있었지만 시설이 평균은 되고 위치가 좋으니 천장쪽은 쳐다보지 않기로 하고 방을 바꾸지는 않았습니다. 그런데 비가 오니 발코니와 룸 복도쪽에서 바닥으로 물이 세기 시작했습니다. 조금 그러다 말겠지 했는데 실내화를 신지 못할 정도로 바닥 카펫이 질퍽해졌습니다. 벽지도 물을 먹었는지 울기 시작했구요. 전기 코드 다 뽑았습니다. 이 정도로 건물이 부실한데 직원이 이런 경우는 처음 봤다고 말하는것이 말이 됩니까. 확인차 올라온 직원분은 베란다 문도 못열어서 어머니가 어떻게 열라고 손잡이 잡는 법을 가르쳐주기까지 했습니다. 결국 같은 조건의 방(저희는 침대가 두개 있는 방이 필요했습니다. )을 바꾸지 못해 사고날은 환불 받는 것으로 합의했습니다. 15층 모든 방에 물이 차 같은 방이 없다더군요. 호텔로서는 비상일텐데 매니져는 보이지도 않고 결정권도 없을 말단 직원 두분만 있었어요. 정리하고 짐싸고 옮기느라 노모와 밤 12시가 넘어 방을 옮겼습니다. 맘 같아선 당장 다른 호텔로 옮기고 싶었으나 어머니가 몸이 불편하셔서 그럴 수 없었습니다. 위치때문에 다음에 또 이용해야 할 수도 있는데 이거 언제 시정되겠습니까. 주차도 많이 불편합니다. 1-14층은 일반 상업시설이 15-20층은 호텔시설인데 고객이 섞이다 보니 주차빌딩 이용은 정말 불편합니다. 불친절하기도 하구요. 장기 숙박은 권하지 않습니다.

Good but could've been better..
Second time staying. Paid same amount as first time for the upgrade room but this one was just not good. Carpet was dirty with white stains, room only down went to 20c will low flowing AC. Had to ask for fan which helped. Didnt have the tub/shower combo this time. Overall wasnt impressed. Paid too much for this stay. Ill try again next time.

This property appears to be two buildings that later combined into one property. Because of this it can be confusing to find things. I had to ask the staff where the check-in counter was and where breakfast was. The Korean food at breakfast was good, but I do not recommend eating the western food. I'd rate the breakfast a 2/5. There are some businesses on a couple of floors to include a hospital. The elevator is shared with the hotel and the businesses so elevator wait times are long. I was disappointed to learn that the sauna is male only. The hotel was advertised as having a sauna, but did not specify it was only for men. Once I got to my room there was a large clump of hair in the shower and some trash on the floor. Additionally, the corners of my shower were moldy. Aside from these issues my stay was pleasant. The staff was very nice and the rest of the room was tidy. The jazz bar is cozy and there is a 7/11 and coffee shop inside the hotel. I asked the staff for a humidifier and they gave one to me for the entire length of my stay.

Great hotel at the price point.
Modern and convenient hotel located in the downtown Daegu. Beautiful sight of the city if you stay in the new wing. Breakfast menu far better than the similar chain hotels in the US. Fitness club located on the 19th floor also offers the wonderful view of the city. My room was little too hot but then, so is the public transportation, Dept. stores and pretty much every indoor space in Korea. I will stay here again in the future. Great hotel at the price point.

Amazing views, spacious room, excellent breakfast.
I love this hotel! The views were AMAZING from the room but also the top floor garden and outdoor sitting area. The room was quite spacious and the complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent with Western, Korean, and Japanese options. The staff were very friendly, but the staff at the front desk had very limited English. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the subway and monorail lines.

Most bang for the buck; hands down.
This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. For the money this hotel surpasses its competition. I stayed at the Novotel for a couple days prior to staying here and this place offers the same caliber type environment, service, location, etc. for sometimes even less than half of the price.

Reasonable priced great place
The hotel was located in a short walking distance from a metro station and awesome Hyundai Department Store where all kinds of food is available in a very reasonable prices. It is also in a short distance from Asian Cultural Center and arts district. The front desk staff went out of their way to find transportation to different places where we wanted to go, an out of town temple by public transportation.

Worst hotel
Not clean room, very small room, some unfriendly staffs, terrible parking lot. The hotels seems just a part of a hospital. Not worth for your money.
