Post Christmas relaxation
We had booked for skiing but there was little snow on the mountain so we just enjoyed Courtenay. The location was great. At first I was a bit worried about only 1 TV and 2 teenagers but we ended up snuggled up watching movies and Sienfeld reruns. A great family getaway. Thanks so much!

Family Christmas
We hosted a family Christmas and it couldn't have felt more like home. Host decorated the house and yard, including a Christmas tree. The family felt warm and welcome. We would stay here again and definitely recommend it.

Wonderful Cottage by the River!
This is a lovely cottage in a wonderful, peaceful location. The property is beautifully and lovingly maintained, the cottage is full of light and warmth, and the deck invites you to sit for hours watching the river. We enjoyed tubing and kayaking, and the fresh peaches from the peach tree. We loved it.

Beautiful riverfront home away from home
We have been staying here almost every year for 10 years now and we never get tired of it. This is such a beautiful home in such a fantastic location. The back deck overlooking the river is stunning. It's walking distance to downtown Courtenay for shopping and restaurants. The house itself is beautiful - beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture, and well equipped for cooking family meals. The beds are super comfortable as well. This place is really a gem.

Great location
Access to the puntledge and downtown Courtenay are unmatched with this house. We were on the river every day. A short walk to downtown made getting morning coffee or an evening out a breeze. When not doing that, the house had everything we needed for meals at home. Jacqueline was great for communication the whole time. We can't wait to go back!

We had high expectations about this stay and it exceeded it. The home was perfect the way it was and accommodated our family of 5. We all loved the river front deck, playing in the water, kayaking, closeness to town, and the July 1st festivities. Thank you to the Hosts.

Lovely home
Lovely, clean, and quiet property with great view of the river. Comfortable beds. Convenient to town with grocery stores and great restaurants. We enjoyed being able to water the perennials every morning! There was a musty smell when we arrived that the host explained could be because the house had been closed up for the week before, however the smell never went away. Nevertheless, we would stay here again when visiting Courtenay.

A piece of paradise
This was not just a beautiful house with tons of character, it felt like home. The bungalow style was perfect for us and my parents. Communication with our host was exceptional. We would definitely come back if our in the area again.

This home was peacful with a gorgeous yard and beutiful view of the river. It is close to town and communication with host was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the bikes and kayaks. It is the perfect home to get together with family. We will be back.
