We had pre-booked this motel for a stop on a cross country move with 6 dogs& 2 cats. When we arrived, the motel was completely closed due to an upstairs fire. Obviously unavoidable, but they had online reservations through the main reservation line and no email or call was made to let us know. When we called the customer service line they literally said well what did you want us to do about it. Completely unapologetic & didn't offer to help find a different location.

The property was close to Athens, but there was no daily maid service, the room was smokey and the bed spread was stained. The floors were nice and shower surround was nice, but everything else needed updating.

Needed a littleTLC
We stayed here on our way to our destination and the room was clean. Our stay on the way back 4/1/22 was not as good. The room was not as clean (dust and hair bunnies on floor) . The room needs to be refurbed. There were stains in the sink and the tub had been scrubbed so many times you could see the cast iron. Husband wasn't able to regulate tub water temp so we skipped a shower. Access panel on wall was not secured making me wonder what might come out. FYI-Nothing did. No pests were seen. Towels and bedding were of good quality.

Strange electrician setup
Convenient to freeway and restaurants. Room was large but only plugs available were on lights over the bed so we couldn’t recharge overnight. No plug in bathroom to dry hair. Guy outside blowing 6’ trie type horn until about 10. Of course it was a Friday night.

Pretty gross. All of the comforters had stains on them. One of them had cigarette ash burns and this was in a non-smoking room. Expectedly, it did smell heavily of cigarette smoke. Trash was left all over the room. There was no shampoo or conditioner on the property. One of their awesome staff brought me shampoo so I'd have something. The light in the bathroom didn't work. There was no service on the tv.

Not good
This Motel 6 looked good from the outside but the rooms were very dirty. Poop on the toilet and pubic hair in bathroom. Room looked like it was mopped with a muddy mop from the parking lot. Sheets not clean.We looked at three rooms and they were all filthy. Management was very nice and polite to refund our money. I think these motels are having a hard time of finding staff. I wish them well in the future.

I checked in kinda late... I called after i reserved and paid online. When i got there clerk was nice. She was having issues with her system but sent me to my room instead of making me stand and wait thru all thar. Room was dirty though. It hadnt been swept or mopped and there was a drink ring on the table that hadnt been wiped down since previous guest... Kinda scary. There was stains on the bed dress. There were dingy sheets. Should be replaced instead We used our own private blankets . But all in all it wasnt terrible.

I booked for 2 nights, called ahead to let them know I would arrive very late the first night, probably closer to 5 AM the next morning and asked if someone would be able to check me into my room. They said that was no problem. When I arrived I was turned away

Room wasn't cleaned
It looked like the bed was just made but the sheets and two blankets were not changed. They had stains on them and they smelled terrible. There were fly guts on the bathroom wall. The floor hadn't been swept. After I checked in and came back down I let the front desk lady know who told ME to tell the housekeepers. That isn't my job but my fiance and I did. And they gladly and hurried to change everything. We stayed in Room 137 which is the second time we have stayed in this room. We didn't have a problem the first time.

No deposit which was fantastic
The bed qas comfortable. I booked a non smoking room but it smelled like smoke. The shower had been upgraded which was nice. It wasnt bad for the price. The staff was very nice

Don’t do it.
This place is garbage. First the check-in person couldn’t find our reservation and offered no help whatsoever, just a “not my problem attitude.” Then after 20 minutes she refreshed her computer and miraculously the reservation showed up and she accused us of booking it right then (we booked it over a month ago). We had to pay for each room separately. After getting to our rooms we noticed that the comforters were very dirty, there were cigarette burns on the bedding, the floors hadn’t been cleaned and the bathrooms were disgusting. I mean like “rather skip a shower than stand in the tub“ disgusting. We didn’t even want to sleep in the beds it was so nasty, but we stayed because it was very late and hard to find somewhere else that took pets. Never stay here.

It was not the cleanest but clean enough to not be an issue, the tv was staticy and could not be cleared up,.the same thing happened in same motel.differant room, it is a great convenient place to stay especially having to travel to go to the dentist, and I can bring my.dog for no.charge.that rates HIGH in my book

Just what I was looking for.
I was looking for a quiet, clean, economical room for the night, I found exactly that! It was New Year's Eve and my dog and I are frightened by fireworks and late night parties that surround us in my suburban neighborhood. We both had a relaxing and quiet night, comfortably at the Commerce Motel 6.

Worst place I have ever been!!!! The people running the front desk didn’t care at all about our problems in the room!!!! The only person that was even friendly at all was one maid We left two days early and didn’t even get a refund Totally the worst experience I have ever had Bad bad bad !!!!!!

When my boyfriend and I were driving home we decided the stay was ADEQUATE. It was clean, it looked like it had recently been renovated, (you could tell because the facings where they painted hadn't been covered very well), the insulation must be poor because we could hear walking and the toilet being flushed which I have never heard in most hotels where we've stayed, my bedspread had a few tears in it which could easily have been mended. However the staff that evening was very friendly and welcoming.

Terrible service, roaches everywhere, owners were rude and didn’t even clean the rooms during our stay! Motel 6 should be ashamed to have there name on this dump!

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was polite. No frills of any kind, but room was just what I required for my visit to Commerce. Had refrigerator and microwave in room which was a welcome surprise.

Excellent price. Location 17 miles from University of Georgia and easy access (On I-85). Lots of restaurants walking distance.

Property appears to have been renovated within the past year or so... It is your basic needs Motel. ( comfortable bed, frig., microwave and cable flat screen TV).. Located in "Great Safe" area with several restaurants near by. Quieter then I expected located within the busy area of Commerce that it is. Only down side is access from the main road when coming in from the interstate... Extremely busy 4 lane road with no traffic light where you have to make a left turn... Will be on my return to list the next time I'm in this area
