Jill, the host and Perry, the owner are wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed the Italian Bistro recommendation for dinner. Not a lot to see and do in Clarksville but it was just the getaway we needed. We also enjoyed sharing breakfast with other guests, great conversations.

The roads around the house is gravely and has many potholes . The area looked a little iffy. The listing said that we would be greeted but we were on the porch for about an hour. There were 3 phone numbers to call, and we called all three. We didn’t see a host until the next morning.- it was a little disappointing to me, many people probably love it. To help make up for the wait, our room was upgraded. We were the only ones downstairs and it was a very nice room. Beautifully decorated. The bathroom had a jetted tub which is very nice. There wasn’t a separate shower and the jetted tubs are quite deep, there was not a rail to help get in and out of it. With that said, the things that were wonderful. Our bed was very comfortable and the linens were so luxurious. The room temperature was ideal. Thanks to all-of it, we slept soundly The towels were fluffy, large and soft! The toiletries were very nice and the hairdryer was quiet while still being powerful. The breakfast was hot, plentiful and delicious!

This was a beautiful property. I loved the attention to detail in every room. I'm a history buff so i loved the history that is a part of this area and this building in particular. I would definitely stay here again!

Even Better than Expected
Wanted a neat little place to stay while passing through and got so much more than we expected! Truly feels like you’re staying inside of a national landmark that takes you way back in time. Such a neat house that we would definitely come back to! Great service and home made breakfast as well!

Quiet and comfortable
Very cute Victorian house with all the amenities and excellent breakfast. Very quiet and comfortable stay. Lots of nice extras like full coffee bar, additional drinks and snacks in the main fridge, access to laundry for extended stay guest. There are quite a few friendly neighborhood cats that will hang out with you on the porch.

I loved the feeling of stepping back into the past. The antiques are so beautiful. The owners are working hard to preserve this piece of history. The room was comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean with everything one might need!

This was a nice getaway not far from the DFW area. The price was a great deal. The atmosphere was romantic, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excelent.

The house is beautiful! Perry and Jill were so welcoming that they made my stay really special. At breakfast the conversation was lively and I enjoyed sharing stories with everyone. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area!

Property owner/host was delightful. Fascinating to listen to. A gracious host. He made the visit to the B&B a great experience. B&B was beautiful. Full of wonderful antiques. Decorated beautifully. If opportunity presents itself, we will definitely be back.

The property and the service was exceptional. It’s a unique historical property with character while still being convenient and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and receptive to me “making myself at home” in their kitchen. I will definitely stay there again when the opportunity arises.

Delightful 1880s Restored House
Very pleasant stay, wonderful host, comfortable old house with great furnishings. A little off the beaten path, and very quiet and private. Nice traditional breakfasts, good bed, easily walkable to town center. Stayed two nights. Would stay again.

I wish I could've stayed longer. Meeting Perry and learning about the Inn was a pleasure. This is a beautiful home with so many amazing treasures to look at and learn about. I hope I have a reason to return to the area in the near future. Highly recommend.

This is a really unique house. Loved the antiques and the setup of the house. Unfortunately the owner had a death in the family and we didn’t get a breakfast in the morning. Had to ride 25 plus miles for a breakfast. They did reduce their rate for the rooms anfing am satisfied. Would rent again.

It was a really nice old timey house decorated in the era! The owner was awesome and we talked on and on for quite a while. I really recommend staying here. :)

Fabulous Trip Back In Time
Had a wonderful stay here in the Govenor’s Suite. The owner, Perry, was phenomenal and makes a lovely breakfast. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a grand time. We love staying in historic places and this really takes you back to the late 1800’s but with all the comforts of the present day (great A/C, tv, huge whirlpool tub). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A great place to go to get away from the big city dramarama.
