Overall this hotel was nice and would most likely stay there again. One staff member working the desk late at night was very rude but the rest of the staff was nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast. The area around the hotel had a high number of homeless people, but that seemed to be an issue around all uptown Charlotte not just at the hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel and the front desk was exceptional. We loved the convenience of being right there at the Spectrum Center. The only thing was the AC in our room was set at 65 when we got there , but it didn’t feel that cold and it wouldn't go any lower. We slept fine though. I would definitely stay again!!
Just sucked that I booked a 2 queen bed through Expedia but they only had 1 king bed & a pull out couch so my friends didn’t really sleep all that well.
Ideal place to stay for events at the Spectrum Arena. Clean and nice-sized rooms with comfortable bed. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Very walkable but also close to bus, tram, and metro stations. Definitely will stay here again!

Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again soon!
Loved that we had a mini kitchen and a great view. I was sorry we were only staying one night. Bed comfy and the breakfast outstanding for a hotel buffet breakfast. Excellent omelette made to order plus excellent coffee!

Quite noisy at night from street traffic, many outdated features, furniture needs to be cleaned, very small pool. Great Continental breakfast, fast elevator, city views, and convenient downtown location. Onsite valet parking for $40 a night.
Our experience with this hotel was the worst I've had....ever. Check in was at 3 o'clock and the rooms were still being cleaned at 6:30. We were attending a Celtics game we needed to be there at 7. We ended up having to change our clothes in the bar bathroom since we had just drove 3 hours to be there... mind you I am also 8 months pregnant. When we got there the cleaners were taking up all the spaces in the hotel provided parking so we had to park across the street in an open lot. No one informed us this was a paying lot. There was one sign that said no overnight parking which we didn't do but we were unaware we needed to pay to park thinking it was an overflow lot for the hotel. After lugging our bags back to the car and going to the game, when we got back from the game we had a $110 parking ticket on our dash. Its pushing 11 pm now and we had to move our car into the hotel parking and finally check in. When we got to our room the temp would not go lower than 68 and it was humid in the room. We called the front office and they said it takes an hour to cool down. Mind you it had been 8 hours since our check in was supposed to be. The front desks response was "well we have been busy". Horrible experience.
This hotel is right next to the spectrum center which is a big plus. The rooms are nice, but have some age. The breakfast buffet could have been better. Food was average and the station was very messy. Also, the bathroom in the lobby was disgusting. You expect more from a higher priced hotel.
