Overall, it was one of the decent places that was well-maintained in some aspects of Cartagena. The lobby area is pretty modern but get into your room. The bathroom needs more cleaning. It’s very moldy decent cleaning if you were an American or European this is not a high-class standard. These are basic standards for the Cartagena people. Some parts of the pools were dirty and needed better cleaning and maintenance. I suggested Hilton in Cartagena to maintain the rooms. Needs to improve cleaning a bit more and less moldy and dirt in the bathroom. Hilton Cartagena doesn’t want to end up like Sonesta's Hotel in Cartagena. Please, maintain cleansing by using some Clorox to clean the bathroom with molds. Also, beach benches needs to be cleaned a little bit more. It was dirty and they just gave you a raggedy and old towel for swimming.

Service was very inconsistent at best. Especially at reception. When I checked out moments ago the attendant didn’t respond verbally to my greeting, showed me the minimum level of acknowledgement and seemed inconvenienced. She did not thank me for my stay, offer help with bags or a cab she just gruffly handed me some ticket and told me to hand it to the valet. It really left a bad taste in my mouth after I stay I would’ve otherwise rated as being good.

Love it! Cartagena was hot, one day it felt like 113Fdegrees but the Hilton was the only place that had the AC on full blast.
