"The ocean view is the first thing you notice when you walk into this beautiful home—it’s absolutely stunning! The house is comfortable, beautifully appointed, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners truly thought of everything, from beach gear to toys for the kids, which made our stay especially easy and enjoyable.We had such a wonderful time and felt right at home. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked our stay for next summer! That probably says it all. Highly recommend!"

"Nicely done hotel across from a quiet beach. If peace and quiet is what you’re looking for, then this is for you. Wish we would’ve been in the area at least one more night. Loved the old world decor! The only.negatives are so mild, they’re hardly worth mentioning. The staff was almost absent so when we needed soap. No one answered the phone or present at the front desk. Also, I had a tough time reaching someone to fix the billing error but it was taken care of via voicemails and messages in a timely manner. Would I stay here again? Most definitely!😊"

"The property was in good shape for the most part. The patio door would stick probably due to moisture expanding the door. Also, there was some water damage to the bottom of the door frame in the bathroom. I know from my own experience that if the bathroom door frame is not sealed, bugs would love to make a home there with the added moisture from the shower."

"House was very clean. Lots of glass to worry about from showers, bathroom sinks to the huge patio door with rotting hinges that looks ready to break off. That was probably the most to worry about. Now you couldn't walk onto the beach like the advertised picture. Oh no!!! That was years ago maybe. Erosion took the beach away. It was private & safe though. Sandbox needs fresh sandbox for children to play in. Not a place for kids but ok for 3 years playing in the sand."

"To be honest, this lovely little house could use some sprucing up, but if you’re looking for a good old fashioned, nostalgic beach house, this is the place! The kitchen was well appointed and the living room cozy, but the highlight was the outside deck and location. The beach was private and right at your doorstep. Hot tub was clean and relaxing, and bbq right there. Bedrooms a little quirky as far as privacy, but not really a problem. Dana Point is beautiful and welcoming, a perfect taste of CA beach living, a wonderful change of pace for us desert rats. We hope to go back and will make sure to bring board games, the only thing missing."

"I can’t say enough about how beautiful this property is and the attention to detail for any guest’s needs. I hope we have the opportunity to use this property again. The only thing that was missing was beach access but I think that will change in the not too distant future."

"Great experience! Plenty of room for everyone. We saw sea lions from the master bedroom. There wasn't any beach in front of the house while we were there but just the sound of the sea satisfied us. One night , the smoke alarm started chirping and by the next morning, they were at the property putting a new one up. We will stay here again."
