Welcome to our newly renovated and charming home nestled on a quiet street in the heart of Calumet. We preserved the character of this old home while making modern upgrades to create an inviting retreat for your getaway. Here, you'll have easy access to local coffee shops, eateries, outdoor adventure and cultural attractions.

Whether you're seeking adventure or looking to unwind while in town for business or college functions, our home is the perfect spot for your unforgettable stay.

We just completed renovating this entire home. It's the last home on a quiet street with neighbors on one side and a yard on the other.

The three seasons porch welcomes you into the fresh, airy first floor. The cozy living room has a large flatscreen TV, which leads into a dining area that is open to the kitchen and an island with stools. There is a half-bath, enclosed back porch (ideal for winter gear, jackets, and outdoor adventure gear) and a laundry room all off of the back of the kitchen.

The upstairs is all freshly carpeted and painted with a full bathroom and three simple but tasteful bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds, and the third has a full.
Bordering the yard is a slow street, with the snowmobile trail just beyond that. This will offer winter sports enthusiasts the most convenient entrance to the trails.

Perfect for MTU grad

The house is just as described and pictured and worked perfectly for our extended family while we were in the area for our son and DIL's graduations from MTU. Jana was responsive and quickly resolved a communication issue. It was a great place to stay!

Gem in the Keweenaw

I know how old this house is as my great grandfather lived a few houses away in the days of mining - but this house looked and felt like it was brand new! I could not have been more pleased with this rental. Great location, just a few minute walk to the heart of Calumet. It's also a short drive to several historical sites to the north and south. Venture a little further to Copper Harbor, and if you do, be sure to grab some baked goods at the ferry dock!

Clean relaxing house owners are easy to reach and fix any problems of you have any! I would stay again however when we stayed it was unreasonably HOT 90 and with only one window A/C unit upstairs onmy one room ever got cool enough others extremely hott... tthe description of the propert

House was clean and very nice. Location was very close to downtown calumet. Quiet neighborhood. Good internet for the kids. Only thing i would say is it could use more closet space or an armoire in the bedrooms.

Awesome stay!

This is an old house, probably from the Tamarack Mine residents back in the 1880's? Has been remodeled nicely. New everything! Slept well and used the oven for pasties and all kinds of other food. The only issue I had was the junk across the street. Will be back though!

Calumet Copper Country

Great home in Calumet downtown. 3 great bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry, and really good living space. It was very clean as well. Short walk to 5th and 6th Street downtown. We grabbed ice cream with our kids the first night and Pizza the second night. We loved the copper history including the township museum and the National Parks visitor center. It's a remote town, but you can visibly capture it's Copper days glory with all the beautiful old church buildings downtown (among others). There are certainly parts of the town that are abandoned and run down, but this helps to reveal Calumets American story and change over time. Also within 45 minutes of many great Keewenaw sites and small towns. Caught some local Brook Trout in nearby rivers as well. Definitely plan to go back with family.

Nicely remodeled home

The inside of the home was very nice and had everything you needed. The town it is in has seen better days. The house across the street has a bit of a junkyard feel (broken-down cars and trash). I would stay here again but I would have liked to have seen the outside/neighborhood before showing up.

A Great Place to Stay!

Although the view across the street is less than appealing, the house was nearly perfect for us. There were just a few additional accommodations we would have appreciated, but overall, we had a really nice stay during our visit with family in Lake Linden.
