This is where you want to stay in Bruges!!!!
Hans was amazing..he met us and gave us a book about Bruges and a sheet with dinner recommendations, pointed out the best shops, where to get ice cream and chocolate. Had a map with all the items circled The apartment was amazing and no comfort was left out. Our family of 5 was quite happy.

Great place to stay for family with teens
The attic apartment was really perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious,clean, and very conveniently located. It was great to have enough room for our teenagers to move. Hans was very helpful and flexible during our stay. He recommended some great restaurants. The building was gorgeous and I loved all the antiques in the entryway.

Bruges family trip
The place is very close to the Market square and all sights. We travelled with the kids and we booked the loft and they loved it. Its an older building that is completely renovated and very comfortable. The host was very helpful and gracious. We had a great stay/

This was our favorite property we stayed at during our trip to Belgium and Amsterdam. The Family room was very large and comfortable. The bathroom is modern and very clean. The apartment has a kitchen that was useful for having food in the room. We loved the location and the friendliness of the staff. Overall we loved it.

Beautiful B&B in Bruge
We had a short, yet amazing stay at Maison de la Rose. A beautiful B&B in Bruge with wonderful and welcoming hosts. On check-in we were greeted warmly and provided recommendations for restaurants, shops, and sights. The family room was very spacious, bright, open, and updated. The area felt safe and was an easy walk to the city center and sights (Bruge as a whole seemed very safe and clean) .

Ideal location and perfect host
Most things I would like to say have already been said about Maison De La Rose but I will repeat the main points. The house is absolutely charming and even at my slower pace is only 5-6 minutes walk from Market Square. The room we stayed in (think it was called the La Rose room) had everything we wanted plus plenty of space. The bathroom was large and basically we couldn't have asked for more. Hans was the perfect host and his knowledge of Bruges together with his advice on where to eat was second to none. All in all I would recommend Maison De La Rose to anybody visiting this wonderful City.

Excellent Location and Lots of Charm!
The Maison de la Rose is a FANTASTIC place to stay. Excellent location, spacious bedroom, huge bathroom, and LOTS of charm. The owners are helpful and accommodating. We loved it here! Our only "issue": we left the bedroom window open our first night (as most European buildings do not have air conditioning), and we got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Maybe it was the time of year or the weather conditions--I'm not sure. That was the only "issue", and one we easily fixed the next night. If you are looking for a great place in Bruges that is close to everything, stay HERE.

Loved this B&B. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us great suggestions for places to eat in the area and kindly ordered a cab for our departure the next day. The room was very spacious for the price. Nice big bathroom, sleeping area, and seating area. We missed out on breakfast due to timing issues, but I'm sure it would've been delicious. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Great place to stay. Hanz the owner is really helpful. Great location, about 5 minster walk from the main square and easy to find. Lovely big bathroom with shower and bath - great after a day sightseeing.

Hans was a great host. The B&B is in an old house w 4 guest rooms. It's not a 5 star hotel, but a home with character. Our room had a huge new bathroom, but a limited view. The location is very close to the market square (5 min walk).

Hans a is a very friendly host. The building itself is a monument. We didn't realize it until we checked in. So it is an interesting stay in the first place. The apartment is spacious and we had plenty of room to the four of us. We rented the apartment for its location, being in the old town, everything was within walking distance. The only issue we had was mosquitoes. Because there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in the area, we had to close all windows at night and use the electronic insect repellant. This made the room rather stuffy. We had to turn on the fans all night long.

Great location, good host, quirky and homely
The accommodation was very comfortable. Parking wasn't a problem for us as you can park in the Station long stay car park and get free bus back into town centre - you can park up outside the house and unpack before moving on to the car park. Staying up in the loft there are a couple of fans and several velux windows to create an airflow - would be useful to have a couple of extra large fans for the warmest of Bruges' nights. Hans was very helpful and Marianne was there to help us find our feet in the city.

Home from home!
We couldn't have felt more at home! Lovely welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The grey room was large and well equipped. One morning we had breakfast in the house, which was delicious and plentiful! We certainly didn't need any lunch afterwards! Excellent, convenient location. It gave us a taste of living in a 'real' grand Bruges house, rather than a typical, modern hotel. We hope we get the chance to return to Maison de la Rose!

Comfy Home Near All Sights!
We arrived in Bruges via train and took a cab over to the B&B. It was a very short (8 Euro) ride. We were greeted by Ann because her husband Hans was out. Ann apologized for her english being poor but she was being modest, she did a great job. She gave us a really helpful list of the places to see and where to avoid - which we definitely used. The room (Gray Room) was HUGE. I was there with my brother and cousin and this was the biggest room we stayed in during our trip. The B&B is a 5 minute walk (beautiful walk) from the center of town. We loved our stay there and the personal feel of the visit. Would definitely recommend them!

Unique stay in Brugges
This B&B was our first in quite awhile. The owner, Hanz, is more than accommodating. He met us with a list of restaurant and shops that he recommended, as well as a map and visitor's guide to the city. He allowed us to pay whenever we wanted during the stay and the price was very reasonable! We stayed in the Blue room and were pleased to see there was a refrigerator in the room! However, there was no AC and no screens on the windows. So, the second night, it was quite warm and had to open the windows. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes were ready! Also, the street noise can be a little overwhelming if you are not used to it. The bathroom was WELL stocked with plenty of towels, a hairdryer, and extra toiletries. The walk to the central market was quite pleasant since there are many shops and restaurants/cafes along the way.

The Host with the Most!
Hans & An welcome you to their home and look after you like good friends. Everything about the premises is lovely and shows the obvious pride taken in presenting a most welcoming place to rest and explore Bruges. Breakfast is so filling that you almost have to object so as to be able to induldge in the local lunch fare around town. While we were there, the girls in the next room had a slight mishap with their plumbing and Hans was able to call in a late night/ public holiday tradseman to fix it whilst the girls were out at the local bars. Wonderful experience!

Aangenaam verblijf in een mooie accommodatie
Wij hadden een hele fijne tijd in Brugge. Met een groep vriendinnen verbleven we in het appartement met 5 bedden. Dit appartement was heel gezellig ingericht. Ideaal om ‘s avonds nog wat bij te praten, gezelschapsspelletjes te spelen… ook perfect ingericht om er te verblijven met kindjes. De ligging van de B&B is ook ideaal. Te voet ben je heel snel in de bruisende stad, zonder last te hebben van de drukte. Zowel het onthaal als het afscheid met de eigenares verliep aangenaam, vlot en correct. Wij raden aan iedereen aan hier te verblijven!

It's the best place to travel. If you have a car, the parking lot is very close. It was very kind, clean and beautiful place. You don't have to find anything else. This is the best place.

La casa è a 2 minuti dal centro. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile: non stando io bene, ha accelerato la preparazione della stanza. Questa risulta molto grande, abbastanza comoda e pulita. Scelta consigliata

spacieux, agréable et proche du centre
je cherche un point négatif.... j'ai du mal.... ah oui, pas conseillé de se garer à côté mais garez-vous à la gare, 3.5€ pour 24h et on vous donne au guichet du bus des tickets pour rejoindre le centre en 15mn... sinon on avait le grand appartement tout en haut, on était 5, tout était parfait, accueil très sympathique du propriétaire qui nous donne un plan de la ville avec explication et nous prête un guide touristique pour visiter cette ville magique, le centre est très proche de l'appartement. Je recommande sans aucun doute.

L'accueil par le propriétaire est parfait, il parle un français parfait et partage volontiers tous ses bons plans et conseils pour le séjour. L'hôtel est très bien situé, proche à pied du centre ville et facilement accessible depuis la gare.
