Two family groups
This property is incredible. The house has lots of character and feels like a (unique) family home. The gardens are huge and gorgeous, and the kids loved playing in the stream which runs along side the property. Sandro was very friendly and always communicated promptly. Thank you!

A Magical Experience
We rented this property for a the month of May and we felt like we were living in a dream. You have the feeling that you are living in a protected nature reserve all to yourself with the large stream running right next to the house and areas to explore without ever leaving the property. The house itself has no direct neighbors but is just a 5 minute drive to Borgo San Lorenzo where you can buy supplies and go to restaurants, etc. Even though the water in the stream was very cold the month we went we did swim in the stream often and it was just amazing. It is not a pool or even a swimming hole, it is more like a spa where you sit in the water and let the waterfall massage you. So much fun. We loved the antique style kitchen on the bottom floor, watching the stream rush past as you prepare meals. Alessandro was a great host and very helpful. We will be staying here again next year.

Fantastic scenery
we have had a fantastically wonderful holiday in Sandro's beautiful authentic old house. Sandro has been an eminent host and has done his utmost to be helpful with even the smallest thing. He is good at English. The communication was via whats app. The river in the garden is wonderful. It is nicely cooling and the children have caught small fish and snorkeled all day. There is plenty of shade on the grounds, which is great when the temperatures are otherwise around 35 degrees. the beds are ok. wifi works flawlessly - but there is only a good signal in the living room. No problem though. There are lots of frogs talking at night and cicadas entertaining during the day. That’s One of the joys of staying outside the cities. Thank you so much for everything

Hidden juvel
We , my husband and I + adult children with their fiancees, stayed in this amazing place for a week in july 2022. The weather was very hot, so we enjoyed the garden and the pool in the stream. Being a family that loves Nature and aminals it was great to discover the wildlife around us, fish, beautiful insects and Wild boar. Borgo San Lorenzo was fine for shopping and pizzas and Firenze, Pisa and Lucca in a convenient distance. The Lamborghini museum outside Bologna is worth seeing too. But most of all we enjoyed the lovely House and it is clear that the owners really loves it too. It has a great sense of homeliness and happiness.
