The staff and inside the hotel were amazing and super helpful! The breakfast buffet was also very good! They offer a small dinner choice that you can heat up in your microwave and it’s tasty along with a glass of wine. This is good because there is nowhere in the immediate vicinity to eat. The neighborhood is pretty desolate and not great for taking the bus. The stop is several blocks away and with luggage and 38/. 95 degrees was difficult and the entrance to the hotel was not easy to see!

Nice property, questionable location
This is a nice property with wonderful staff, but the area surrounding the property is a bit seedy. Also, the walk to the tram to go into Bordeaux takes about 20 minutes and the area one walks through is less than desirable.

Very Isolated mainly due to major road works being
Reception person was most unfriendly and unhelpful and should go out and get a life!!! Getting to the hotel which had plenty of parking was difficult as it is currently isolated due to major road works being undertaken. Breakfast is available for a small tariff however, there are no eateries nearby. We arrived the night France won the World Cup and unfortunately it was impossible to go anywhere because the streets were gridlocked with revellers.

Good hotel but far from city centre
To be fair it's mainly my fault for not paying attention to the location but I expected it to be much closer to the city centre. Just be aware that you need a car otherwise you will be ubering back and forth like I did...it can get fairly expensive. As far as the facilities themselves, they were good and I have no major complaints other than it was impossible to get any food here other than during breakfast.

We arrived at the hotel to find it was in the middLe of an industrial park located 2 kms from the tram station. We were not permitted to enter the premises to wait until check in. On entry there was a notice the internet was not working. We were terribly mislead by Expedia as to the suitability of the hotel and decided to abort the reservation. Not impressed.

Walked from Bordeaux St Jean train station...not a very nice part of town. Unfortunately Wi-Fi wasn't working (which is one reason I book hotels with free Wi-Fi as it is my only for of communication whilst abroad) Very limited cooking facilities. Air conditioning was very much appreciated though. Comfortable bed.

The hotel has all the cooking needs, though we did not use it. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was DELICIOUS. The couscus, the ratatouille and the desert choices were excellent. Since it was a buffet style dinner we could try all the french dishes and at a reasonable price of 14.95 euros

Nice hotel...location not great
The hotel was great, the staff friendly and helpful. The non-smoking lounge was great to relax in and watch football. The only downside to this hotel was the location in a semi-industrial/ residential area about a 20 minute walk from the Tram.

Good hotel for business trip
This is a well put together operation. It's clean and efficiently run. The staff speak good English if your French is a little weak. The food is tasty. Breakfast and dinner are a buffet arrangement and are quite inexpensive. The hotel is near to tram route "C" and is potentially in a good location if you're arriving in Bordeaux by train. It's a fair distance from the airport though. A Taxi to/from the airport is approximately 45 Euro (May, 2015). The tram can take you into the center of town in about 15 minutes + 10 minute walk to the tram stop. The main problem for holiday makers is the area surrounding the hotel, it's a bit industrial. Nevertheless the hotel is not responsible for the area that surrounds it! This will not concern business travelers. My room had a nice view of the river and despite being reasonably near to a main road there was no noise in the evening. The WIFI is easy to set up and the hotel will provide connection for more than one device (e.g. phone + laptop). The hotel bar is small but perfectly formed. Checkout is midday as standard which is very useful. Most taxis take credit cards as do the tram ticket machines.

Quiet, clean and spacious room. Restful sleep. Friendly staff much appreciated. The restaurant however is not great... wouldn't recommend eating in actually. Also,not much choice at the bar.

Noisy hotel out of the way.
Noisy hotel on motor way and situated on an industrial estate. 15minute walk to public transport. On arriving back to room next day at 5 o clock room still not cleaned sat in foyer waiting for room to be cleaned for 25 minutes and no apology from reception

The hotel is clearly brand new and clean. It is however, located in a super industrial area with nothing near it. The tram and bus are even far away. Taxi to and from the hotel gets expensive quick. Service was sub par- I asked the staff twice to call a cab for me and only after I went out of my way to double check with another staff member, did they finally call a cab for me. My phone wasn't working in the room and so I had to go up and down the elevator when I had to talk to reception. Wifi password should be suggested upon checkin as common courtesy. Over I don't think I'd stay there again.

Quiet, out of the way hotel in industrial neighborhood. Low end IKEA furnishings. Quite cramped for two. Internet poor. Inoperative phone, etc. Staff disappears for several hours during the day. More appropriate for students.

If you'd like to drive to Bordeaux but not stay in the city, this is the perfect hotel. It's an 8-10 minute drive, and you'll see parking ramps when you get to the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The elevator/stair lobby area was dark most of the time - wish they would have had lights in there. The kitchenette was fine, but it would have been better if they would have had a frying pan, skillet, and a couple of plates, bowls, and utensils. Bring your own if you stay there.

Room smelt of stale tabacco smoke on arrival even though we assumed it was a non smoking establishment and there were no ashtrays in the room. Very disappointed as there were no utensils/crockery for preparing food what so ever. What is the point of having a kitchenette! Would be reluctant to use it again.

In the Ghetto
English speaking front desk but poor overall service. For instance, they cleaned our room and removed one complete set of towels, so when I called the front desk to ask for the other set of towels they removed, they said "Ahh, ok... I will prepare your towels for you here if you want to come down to the front desk to retrieve them." Uhh, yeah... let me finish drying off so I can come retrieve the towels YOU took away! Parking was free, but there was a wine festival in town and it was HARD to find a spot late in the evening. The houses next door were run down, vacant, and there were girls-for-hire lingering around on the streets in the immediate surrounding area.

Great hotel. Location is well out of town. If you like to walk it is ok. It is in light industrial area. Didn't bother us as we were out all day and back early. Handy having kitchenette to do you own meal. We gave been travelling for three months so made for a change
