Unique opportunity!
We had an amazing time staying at the water tower for two nights! Such a quaint quiet neighborhood. The location was great for us to venture to Belgium one day and up to Cologne on the second. So many details to list - fresh eggs from the chickens who live on the property, a stunning garden and the most pleasant hosts.

A lot of stairs in a rural setting
This property is on four storeys with stairs between each and not within walking distance of any shops or cafes. If that's going to be a problem for you I'd not recommend this property. For us it was perfect. We were travelling by car and the property was perfectly located mid way between Cologne and Bonn. It was an easy drive to both cities. The house itself is beautifully fitted out and was more than comfortable for our family of two parents and three kids.

The property is just stunning, inside and out. Everything you could possibly need is thought about by the wonderful hosts. They provided some food essentials including vegan options which was perfect as my husband is Vegan. The rooms are well equipped, clean and decorated so beautifully. We had a wonderful time. 😀

A perfect outer city stay!
The hosts clearly care about their guests. Their property is lovely and attention to every detail is made for their guests comfort. Our family of 4 were thrilled with the water tower as a living space. It is so unique and fun. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable with ‘little extras’ provided to leave guests want for nothing. Roger and Claus went above and beyond. Such friendly and hospitable hosts. The property is located in a very quiet suburban neighbourhood. The nearest towns are easy to access and have all you need for shopping needs. In these towns you can catch trains into Cologne. Very convenient. We highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, unique, and lovingly cared for accommodation, to stay at the Water Tower house. It is not an ideal place for anyone with mobility issues due to the number of stairs, but everyone else will enjoy it immensely. Thank you Roger and Claus. We’d love to come back.

Our trip took us to Germany to visit the Christmas Markets and the tower was the perfect place to adventure out to all the different villages. We arrived late in the evening and found fresh eggs, bread, milk, pasta etc left for us in the kitchen. It was a lifesaver in the morning. It was super clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's hard to put into words how incredible our stay was at the tower. It us such a unique property...it feels like you stepped into a fairy tale!10/10 recommend.

Außergewöhnlich schöne Unterkunft
Der umgebaute Wasserturm hat uns vom ersten Augenblickt fasziniert. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und mit Liebe zum Detail ausgewählt. Die Vermieter sind superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ort Rösberg selber bietet keinerlei Einkaufs- oder Freizeitmöglichkeiten, aber man kann alles gut erreichen, sogar mit dem ÖPNV. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

Sommerurlaub...
...in einem super angenehmen nicht ganz gewöhnlichen Ferienwohnung. Diese ist für den Urlaub von bis zu sechs Personen gut geeignet. Für die ersten Tag war auch schon für Essen und Trinken gesorgt. Selbst die hauseigenen Hühner hatten dafür ihr Bestes gegeben. Die absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Wie im Märchen
Der Turm ist genauso wie auf den Bildern. Nein, er ist in echt noch viel be- und verzaubernder. Er ist voller Charme und friedlicher Atmosphäre. Mit soviel Liebe und Hingabe von Rüdiger und Claus eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Fast wie Rapunzel. Nur mit weniger Haaren. Sogar die Teenager waren sprachlos. Auch die Umgebung ist toll. Im Ort gibt es eine nette kleine Wirtschaft in der wir sehr lecker gegessen haben und unser Hund hat die umliegenden Wiesen und Felder mit viel Freude erkundet. Familienurlaub im Westen
Insgesamt hatten wir einen großartigen Aufenthalt. Die FeWo war super interessant und schick gestaltet/möbiliert. Es wurden sogar einige Grundnahrungsmittel zur Verfügung gestellt, die beim ein oder anderen Engpass durch den Tag gerettet haben. Das gesamte Ambiete der FeWo war gemütlich und warm. Die zwei Vermieter waren jederzeit zuvorkommend, höflich, offen und aufgeschlossen und trugen viel dazu bei, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlen konnte. Ganz klare Empfehlung von uns, unbedingt ausprobieren!:)

Viel Platz zum spielen für die Kleine, extra Bad für die Große mit Steckdose:) und für die Erwachsenen eine mal andere sehr tolle Unterkunft mit tollen Ausblicken rundum die Staffelung der Zimmer in den einzelnen Etagen einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche und bequemen Badewanne im Hauptbadezimmer. eine ganz besondere Ferienwohnung
unser Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Das ein- und auschecken war völlig problemlos. Diese Wohnung hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Eine derartige Ausstattung haben wir noch in keiner Wohnung angetroffen. Die Vermieter Rüdiger und Claus helfen überall gerne weiter. Der absolute Höhepunkt war, dass die beiden uns ermöglicht haben auch den oberen Teil des Turms zu besichtigen (Ihre Privaträume). Vielen Dank. Sollten wir wieder in die Nähe von Köln kommen, werden wir versuchen hier wieder zu buchen!

Die Gastgeber sind komplett super und total sympathisch Das Haus ist ganz toll ausgestattet mit viel Geschirr Kochutensilien Bettwäsche Handtücher Reinigungsmittel ec.ec. Ein tolles Erlebnis
Wir waren schon total überrascht, als in der Ferienwohnung (welche sich über 4 Etagen erstreckt) wirklich alles top ausgestattet war. Zudem hatten wir eine Kiste Sprudel in der Küche, Marmelade, Butter, Milch und Eier von den eigenen Hühnern bereitgestellt. Öl, Essig, Kräuter, Kaffee, Zucker usw. Waren vorhanden. Brötchen zum aufbacken und Nudeln. Aber damit war es nicht getan - Zahnpasta, Duschel, Damenbinden, Shampoo, Taschentücher, Toilettenpapier, Einweg Rasierer, Zahnbürten (alles Originalverpackt) waren ebenfalls schon im Haus. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und fragten auch nach, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Beide sehr freundlich. Auch unser Hund war willkommen und fühlte sich wohl. Für ihn standen Schüsseln bereit und eine Liegedecke. Nur empfehlenswert!! Jederzeit wieder. Die Schwarzwaldfamilie.

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Alles war vorhanden.. von Hygieneartikeln, Brötchen, Marmelade und frischen Eiern von den eigenen Hühnern. Sie haben sich definitiv ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Von rotem Pfeffer über Kürbisse oder Lorbeer war wirklich alles im eigenen Garten. Danke für diesen wunderschönen Urlaub.
