Cozy cabin
Cabin was warm and cozy perfect for a couple of nights away with my adult son. Cabin was clean, beds comfy. Location was quiet and overall central to the attractions we wanted to visit. Had to contact owner lovely man and sorted our issue. Happy to book again.

Lovely clean cabin
We recently stayed in one of the cabins and it was spacious, clean, and even provided washing up supplies. Each lodge has ample space with an adequate decking area. Plenty of privacy. We used and loved the dog walking enclosure, this is really useful with so many sheep near by.

Lovely relaxed break
This is a quiet little place that ensures total relaxation. Really good location for walks and commutes to pub food and local attractions. The cabin is basic but did the trick, comfy beds too which was great after a long day walking. Would return. Ideal for our old dogs too that appreciated the fake little fire of an evening to cuddle up in front of.

Fantastic place
Great place to stay, lots of interest things to see. The loge is lovely, in jice weather you can seated outside and enjoying the day. The host is helpful if you need any help or problem. We are enjoying the short break

Nice place but had not been cleaned
The cabin was in good reach to good walking spots, however, the bed sheets did not seem to have been washed and the overall cleanliness was poor. A used t-shirt was found down the side of the bed and the pillows smelt of aftershave. There were also hairs on the bed sheets and a used towel in one of the cupboards. This seemed particularly unfair after having paid an extra £40 on top of the stay for the cleaning facilities. The property was easy to find from the instructions and there were great walks nearby.

We were sorry to hear you found the cabin lacking, but we do state in the information provided that if you encounter any problems to let us know straight away so we can sort them and avoid spoiling your stay. The guest did not contact us during their stay so we could not rectify the problems which we would always do unless its outside our control.

Lovely break
Lovely little break away with the kids, the lodge was everything we expected and more, plenty of equipment the only thing we found we missed was a frying pan. The location is quiet not too much around however we found a lovely little paddling spot 5 minutes up the road, beaches close by, some lovely dog walks. Geoffrey was so helpful throughout our booking and our stay, with regular communication and recommendations of restaurants and things to do 😊 thank you again!

Having checked the cabin after the guest left there was a frying pan in the cupboard with all the other pans

Amazing place to stay really loved the cabin spacious and clean lots of facilities and liked the fact that the bedrooms and bathroom were separated from the lounge by a hallway owner was great with communication and answered enquiries/e-mails within minutes of them being sent and also supplied lots of advice and suggestions on places to eat etc hope to book again next year if possible

Grandparents and grandchildren.
Loverly location, boys enjoyed the play area especially meeting other youngsters. Lodge was everything that was expected and detailed ( although ovens gloves would be a handy addition). Found a couple of nice beaches within a 30-45 minute drive. Would recommend this site to anyone who wanted a break especially as the on site bar/cafe is available at limited times.

Peaceful weekend break
Just myself and dog on a long weekend break. The lodge is pereft and very well equipped for all needs. The location is well placed for touring the area. Site is clean tidy and very relaxing.

Lovely clean log cabin with all the equipment needed in beautiful surroundings,the host was excellent as we had forgot a couple of things & he sent them back to us,nice extras in the cabin fairy lights extra heaters,games for children,the pub was a nice touch on site,the staff very helpful & friendly & the shop was sufficient,would recommend & would love to visit again.

Lovely place for a get away
After searching other options for a last minute getaway, I found this listing and um so glad I did. Sweet little cabin conveniently located in Snowdonia National Park. Well apportioned with everything you might need- including a slow cooker!!! Communication with the host was amazing- lots of info provided both by message before arriving, notebook in cabin, flyers for local attractions and prompt response to messages/questions after we arrived. As one other person mentioned the water heater does sound a bit like local fireworks (which based on our time of visit we shrugged off as Halloween or Bonfire night celebrations). Never bothered us with sleep though. Had a wonderful relaxing weekend and would absolutely consider returning for another visit.

The cabin was lovely and presentable when we arrived, we did have to wash a few of the dishes before using the, everything we needed was there including a slow cooker, lots of plates, cups, cutlery etc,. We used the sofa bed also in the living room, there was no quilt cover or pillow slips for it, lucky our friends also have a cabin on the site so we were able to use their spare bedding. There was an information guide which as great and really useful. There is a little pub opened on the site now, they don’t do food but drinks are reasonable enough. They also have theme nights were they bring in outside catering vans for it. Take a torch with you especially if you are going to the pub as the site has no streets lights (that’s not a complaint it just meant we could see the stars more). Thank you Geoffrey for allowing us the use the log cabin.

The property was well presented, as a self catering premises there was basic plates, cups, pans etc. the pans could have been non-stick. The site was quiet and the first night we thought there was a fire work show or a celebration however we discovered that this was the noise made by the water heater, this had to be turned off a night due to the noise. Overall a nice relaxing time in a nice cabin
