Very clean and modern
Stopped here while driving across the Cabot Trail. Day was cut short by very heavy rain that made seeing anything impractical. Glad to have found a place to get out of the rain and use the internet to plan our next steps. Place is cozy but functional. Very clean.

Beautifully maintained modern cottage that is well stocked. The heat pump was a wondeful surprise. We stayed in cottage #1, closest to the road. We were looking forward to a quiet getaway but found there was quite a bit of noise from the road out front however I would imagine that not all cottages would experience this. While the flooring looked beautiful, we found it to be extremely loud when walked on and this posed a problem for us at night due to our different sleeping habits. The grounds around the cottages are gorgeous and perfect for dogs. The restaurants and stores/shops within 15 minutes are awesome. The cottage is in a nice location for day trips to beaches and some tourist sites.

Great base to do fall hiking!
Modern clean well equipped cottage. Very comfortable and bright, very quiet area at night. Comfortable deck with propane barbecue. Well located to investigate many hiking trails in the northern part of Cape Breton.

Great location, perfect cabin
These cabins are fantastic. A great location just outside the park makes it easy to access everything the park has to offer as well as local stores, ice-cream and restaurants. The cabins themselves are perfectly designed providing everything you might ever need and a very efficient use of the space. The front porch is an extra bonus and a nice place to spend some time. Our family loved it.

Great mountain cabin!
This little cabin had everything you could want after a chilly rainy day on the trails. All the comforts of home including WiFi & cozy blankets. The misty view of the mountain outside the front window just added to the ambiance!

Wonderful Place to Stay!
The cabin had everything we needed for a comfotable and enjoyable stay. The air conditioning and wifi were a great extra! The location was easy to find and has beautiful views of the mountains. Highly recommend this as a stop!

My mom and I stayed here one night and can't wait to go back. It was by far one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. They had everything you need, including an iron and nifty iron pad. So quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfortable and tv had full cable, and Netflix! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! The cottage was so clean, cozy and inviting. The decor was great, love the little touches everywhere their bedding was nice too! We were saying the place is cleaner than our own house haha! The host, George was very quick to respond and great to talk to. He was able to accommodate us that day to check in a bit earlier. Everything we needed was available in the room, even something as simple as liquid hand soap. I always bring mine when we travel and this place surprisingly had it. There is a small grocery store near by and it was close to hikes we were doing that day. The bed was so comfortable, I had the best sleep there and was prepped for a big hike for next day. Thank you George!

What a beautiful spot. We met friends here and had a wonderful visit taking in the quiet beauty of the place. Cabin was as advertised...very clean and had everything needed for a nice stay. I so hope to return and spend more time here. The host was easily accessible ...and quick to reply. It is remote but close to the national park and well worth the dirve.

Beautiful spot surrounded by highlands and trees near top of Cabot Trail.
Cabins are very well appointed and make great use of space. The location is great for those doing the loop and looking for a good half-way point. Lots of hiking trails close by. There is also a pretty well stocked general store within 5-10 minute drive from the property but otherwise pretty isolated.

Best Cabins Ever
This was literally the most pristine cabin I've ever stayed in. It was as clean or cleaner than any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in. It was perfect in all ways. It had every utensil you needed and a beautiful property for family as well. Perfectly located in the most beautiful parts of Cape Breton. 11/10 rating if that was possible.

Cozy cabin
We had a quick one night stay while we travelled cape Breton. It was a good choice. It is as pictured. The bedding was soft & cozy. If you are hiking in the area it would be a great choice for you. Personally for our taste the unit would be too small for more then 2 people. The couch & tv are situated awkwardly so if you planned to spend a large amount of time watching tv and stretching out on the couch it might not be the best choice for you. I would be possible if you pulled the sofa bed out and laid sideways. Only 1 window opens, in the bedroom, so it was a bit stuffy. A screen door on the front would easily solve that problem. The coffee left for us to enjoy was the best we had along the way. Check in and check out process were very easy. It’s likely if we were traveling through the area we would stay again.

What a beautiful little cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the BBQ and fire pit to enjoy the crisp fall evening. Wish we had a few more days to enjoy this amazing space.

This cabin was in the middle of the cabot trail. Loved the location. It was incredibly clean and well maintained. I only stayed for one night. If I were to do it again, I’d stay for two nights. The pictures on this site don’t do justice to this place. It’s very clean and very cute inside. The location is great. Compared to the motels and inns on the Cabot trail, this is a hidden gem.

Best cabin ever !
We enjoyed a great stay at this new or newly renovated cabin. The inside was amazing and all updated right down to the cool barn door on the bedroom. Everything you need is there and all new ! Very clean and nice looking. The host is great and answered questions, even stupid ones, effectively and politely. Definitely recommend this accommodation if in the Cape Brenton area.
