What a gem! Our little log cabin was absolutely perfect. It was stocked with everything we needed, clean, and comfortable. Their menu was limited, but the food was delicious, served with a fresh salad and delivered to our cabin. Will definitely stay again!

This is a very nice way station on a very empty stretch of the Alaskan Highway. Our cabin is as very comfortable, staff very friendly and the grounds were lovely and walkable. We borrowed an air horn from the office (to scare off potential bears) and took a walk down to the White River to do some rock hounding. Lovely short stay. Highly recommend.

Was expecting the worse, but….
When I got there, I had my doubts. There was no Wi-Fi and no TV. However, I had a great time and would definitely stay there again. The staff are incredibly nice and it’s a relaxing place to stay.

Paul, I was delighted to read that your initial impressions were dispelled after a nights stay with us. Our off grid location presents many challenges in providing the facilities that city travellers are used to. We try and make up for the lack of technology in other ways. Definite place to stay if you are traveling north!
Wonderful cabin overnight! Owner and staff made sure we were comfortable in every way. Would come back again!

Loved the place but didn’t appreciate being informed after we checked in that they no longer had any wifi connection. There is also no cell service so we were without any connection at all for about 18 hours. It stated on its webpage it had wifi.

Rich, many thanks for taking the time to write a review of the property. As you've experienced a stay with us you will realise that the remoteness and being off grid has it's challenges. We are still without wifi, with no delivery date for the new system that was ordered in May. We have, since your stay, removed the mention of the hotspot from our website and any advertisements that could be altered. The staff know to offer the use of our land line, free of charge, to guests that need to check in with work or family members. I apologise for any inconvenience the lack of contact could have caused you. Thanks for choosing to stay with us.

As soon as I walked into the office I was greeted with a big warm smile and the front desk woman, seeing my walking cast, ran to me with our keys so I wouldn’t have to take an extra step. She walked while we drove for a few feet to our perfectly clean cute log cabin. The homemade quilts on our twin beds were a sweet touch. It faced the woods and was a beautiful setting. We knew the restaurant closed at 8:00 so we bought dinner in Tok but I forgot ketchup and the woman returned immediately with some. She must have run both ways. At night I could hear their generator in the distance but otherwise it was perfectly quiet. I’d stay there again but you should know: No tv, WiFi only in the office/restaurant, if you want breakfast it must be ordered the night before (we arrived too late). I loved our stay and may return for more than just one night in the future. For those driving from Anchorage to Haines, it was a great stopping point.

Though the amenities say it has WiFi, it EXTREMELY limited, only enough in one spot to allow for iMessaging, and only until the office closes at 10 am.

Great place to end the day. I was on a motorcycle, and had planned to camp, but colder/wetter weather made me go for the heated room. Amanda was accommodating on the email, even though email there is not 100% rock solid. Room was super clean and great place to rest. If there before 8pm they have dinner option, which they brought to my room with some wine... perfect. Airstrip out back (grass), and some nifty WW2 equipment laying around. I’ll go back next time i pass through.

On a long trip and have stayed at about 12 properties in last two weeks. Taken together this has been best of this trip. Great service and good facilities and good food

Nicest little cabins for two. Very updated interiors and quite clean. We would call this a hidden gem. Looked like the RV folks were quite happy also. Staff goes out of their way for you. By far the best lodging near Beaver Creek.

Perfect little spot along the Alaska Highway where there are not too many amenities. The owners/staff are very friendly and they have all sorts of bits and bobs for sale in their office if you are running short of supplies. My only wish is that they had a little kitchenette sized stove or hotplate, but acknowledge that their cabins and rooms may not have room for that. They do all, however, have very nice little porches and barbecues. Highly recommended.
