Dear Sean, i think you are confusin your stay. At the front door is an open garden and is no urine smell, about your check-in if you wait for 20 min i dont undertand why because you had your instructions for the check.in since the morning. The apartment it wasn.t close for month actually it has been rented a few days before your enter. And the building is not so old and we never had crumblings and debris falling. So we really thing your are confusing your stay. Or if this was really your impresion about the place it would have been good if you said something at the moment for you. Anyway have a nice trip back home.
