We received a text message asking us when we expected to arrive at the hotel, I responded right away and said we would be there by 10:30am as the ship would be cleared by 8:00am. The hotel acknowledged my response and said they would see us upon arrival. We got to the hotel and were told that we couldn’t check in at that time but they would flag our reservation as a priority and our room would be ready between 1:00-1:30. We went up to the desk at 1:30 to get our keys and were met by rude staff that told us check in wasn’t until 3:00, when I told the gentleman that he himself told me we would be flagged as priority check in for 1:30 he shrugged and told me the room may not even be ready by 3:00 check in time. We came back at 3:00 and they attempted to give us a room with two twin beds, I booked and paid for a king room. I went back to the lobby and I believe it was a manager was at the desk and when I questioned why I was being given a twin room over what I booked and paid for I was told that was the only room cleaned. I was less than happy about this and told them they would need to compensate us for this, all of a sudden the room I booked and paid for was now ready.
