Perched up among the treetops like a bird's nest in the canopy, this two-story condo in Seven Devils enjoys a gorgeous view of the mountains and valley below. Whether you're planning to ski, hike, or go tubing and whitewater rafting, this is the perfect, scenic home base.

This condo has a setting that's both serene and convenient, with outdoor adventures in every direction. Wander the Otter Falls trail system (one mile), spend a day at Hawksnest Snow Tubing & Zipline (two miles), ski Sugar Mountain (six miles) and Beech Mountain (14 miles), visit Grandfather Mountain State Park (eight miles), or take a ride on the Tweetsie Railroad (14 miles). Appalachian State University and the towns of Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock are all within 12 miles as well.

With its lofty ceilings and large windows, this condo is a joy to return to each afternoon. On summer days, step out onto the covered balcony to take in the commanding view. Come winter, curl up on the soft sectional, toast your toes by the gas fireplace, and stream movies on the living room smart TV.

Daily excursions aside, this condo will keep you thoroughly entertained. Beautiful Townhome

Beautiful, clean, even better than could be expected! We really enjoyed our stay- great arcade room and beautiful views! We loved the coffee bar and the kitchen was very well stocked! Soooo close to Hawks Nest!!! And Grandview diner right down the mountain was delicious! We hope to come back soon!

Short Stay but Sweet.

Comfy & Spacious Condo. Lovely View of the Mountains. The time spent was just wanted we needed. All items to cook, watch a good show, brew a cup of coffee & stay warm by the fireplace was there to accommodate our stay.

It's a nice sized apartment in a nice complex. It's very easy to get in and out of. The place itself is clean. Large enough kitchen to get some cooking done. The two twin beds in the loft are a good touch.

Land of Oz Visit

We stayed at the Nest for our recent Land of Oz Visit. This was a great location between Sugar, Beech, and Boone. The condo was great. It was very clean and modern. The games were a big hit and had the whole family engaged. The host was very helpful as well. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Family ski weekend

This condo was absolutely perfect for a quick weekend stay in North Carolina. It was very convenient to ski resorts and neighboring activities. The house was the perfect size for 4 adults and the kids. We all highly enjoyed the upstairs game room and outdoor patio space with beautiful views. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The ONLY disappointment was the fireplace was not working, but when I reached out to management they responded immediately and apologized, which I appreciated. If we ever make it back I would totally stay here again! Highly recommend :)

Styling mountain getaway

Had a really fine stay at this property. The owners pay close attention to the little things which makes a huge difference, and more like home. HITS: Easy key-coded access. Large open living area with a massive couch to fit all the family. Great mountain view, and fall colors were amazing. Vaulted ceiling. Games in the loft for the kiddos. Coffee options. Appliances and cutlery. Window treatments and good beds = snoozefest past sunrise. I could go on. MISSES: No eating table, but I'll take the huge living area instead. The kitchen bar and stools work fine, along with trays at the couch. So nothing worth noting here really. If the teenager attends App State in the future, this could easily be the go-to place for us to visit.
